Publisher's Summary

When Paige's mysterious and attractive boyfriend dumps her in an email, she decides that chaperoning hormonal teenagers on a once-in-a-lifetime trip is the perfect way to cope. Surely a summer in Europe will heal her battered heart. Best of all, she'll get to visit the historical sites she's spent a lifetime studying on someone else's dime.

Nick's life is in free fall. Being an undercover agent has never been easy, but lately the price has been too high. He's just dumped the love of his life for a secret European mission that resulted in the death of his best friend. Nick can't shake the feeling that there's a rat at the agency, and he's determined to track him down.

When Nick and Paige end up spending the summer together as colleagues, it's more than either bargained for. Sparks fly as they reconnect, and secrets become harder and harder to keep. Paige is determined to get answers about their breakup, and Nick is eager for a second chance. But as the investigation into his partner's death heats up, one kiss in the moonlight changes everything.

Great Suspenseful Romance!

I really enjoy Lindzee's books! This is probably one of my favorite books by her. The story kept me on the edge of my seat. There are quite a few unexpected twists and turns. I was really shocked with some of the developments and never saw them coming!

Narration was well done and brought the story to life.

The characters were well developed and interesting. Even the secondary characters were great! It has the perfect blend of suspense, mystery and romance. It is pretty fast paced and I enjoyed every bit of it! She even made History sound interesting to me... which is saying a lot! I'm more of a science buff :)

I'm already hopeful and looking forward to her next great book!

Oh the sparks!

When I saw that this book was narrated by Stacey Glemboski (the same narrator who did Lindzee's Sunset Plains series), I knew I had to have it! I absolutely loved Cupcakes and Cowboys when I listened to it and this book was no different.

The audio - let's start with that while I am busy gushing about the incredibly talented Stacey Glemboski. The narration was flawless. Stacey changed her voice enough (not necessarily through the sound but through the tone and mannerisms) that I was easily able to keep track of who was speaking. I knew Paige as soon as she started speaking, Nick as well. Layla (one of the other tour guides) had a personality all her own that I picked her out immediately. (I can't wait to hear more about her story in Kiss Me in the Rain!) I loved how I was able to speed up or slow down my Audible app without it messing with Stacey's pacing (unfortunately, not all narrators can accomplish this). Very well done!

As for the book itself - I loved the characters. I thought, after hearing the way he dumped Paige, that Nick was going to be a douche. Thankfully, I was wrong! He shows up for the tour and OH THE SPARKS. Right away, you can tell there's something major going on between him and Paige.

And Paige - I really enjoyed her character. Even with everything that Nick put her through with the super lame and cruddy email break-up (really, Nick?) she isn't this petty person just trying to hurt him back. I mean, yea she wants answers (and who wouldn't?) but she's really just trying to move on. I had to give her credit for that.

My favorite character? Layla. Hands down. I ADORED her. Her spunk, her attitude, the way she kind-of takes lead and mothers the group. She was such a perfect friend-match for Paige.

I'm really trying here - there has to be something I didn't like about this book . . .

Anything . . .

*taps fingers and looks around absentmindedly until concerned husband looks at her like she's gone crackers* (fair point - maybe I have . . .)

No, nothing. The only negative thing I can say about this book was that it ended and now I want more. I loved every minute of it (the characters, the narration, the plot - I mean, come on - SPIES). I will be reading (and listening to) this over and over again.

The ultimate second chance love story!

One thing that I can honestly say about Lindzee Armstrong is that she can tell a love story! In this case, I listened to "Kiss Me in the Moonlight" as an audio book on Audible. Between the great writing skills of the author and terrific narrating by Stacey Glemboski, I never wanted to turn it off. Not only do you have the heart-wrenching love story between Paige and Nick and all the back story along with it, but you have some nail biting drama and a little side flirtation between Layla and Tyler.

One could only hope to have someone like Nick so in love with you, that he would do anything and never give up till he won your heart.

A clean romantic suspense--great for all!

I thought this audio book was awesome. I was not expecting the suspense from Lindzee Armstrong, but she did it really well. This is by far my favorite audio book of hers so far! I really expected nothing more than sweet romance out of this, but the intrigue she threw in made the book so much more exciting--and I didn't see the twists and turns coming at all.
The main characters, Paige and Nick, are chaperoning a bunch of teenagers on a trip to Europe, but neither knows the other is coming. They have a past together that make things more than a little uncomfortable. Nick has some explaining to do--Paige may not calm down enough to listen. Then comes the twists and turns.
Stacey Glemboski did an awesome job with the narration. She made listening to the book very comfortable and made me eager to keep listening..
I was given this audio book in return for my opinion. My opinion is that I can't wait for the next Lindzee Armstrong book!

Exciting Romantic Suspense!

Any additional comments?

Kiss Me in the Moonlight is the perfect escape for someone wanting to take a break from work/college or just wanting to relax for a few hours. Although I’m not a big fan of "second chance at love" stories, author Lindzee Armstrong has a knack for writing stories that are very realistic with believable characters and snappy dialogue. This book did not disappoint, especially with the addition of a little suspense.

The suspense angle arises when we learn that our hero Nick is an undercover government agent who broke off his sizzling romance with our heroine Paige in an email several months ago. He did so when he suddenly received orders to leave on a dangerous mission in Europe and didn’t have time to explain all the details. Soon after arriving in Europe his best friend and partner dies. Nick is determined that they were “set up” by someone within the agency and he’s determined to find out who.

Paige is a PhD student at Georgetown. To help her cope with Nick’s harsh breakup, she decides to chaperone a high school group of teenagers on a tour of Europe. Things go south for Paige when Nick shows up to chaperone the same European trip as his “cover” for his independent investigation. Not surprisingly, Nick still has feelings for Paige and he wants to pick up where they left off. However, Paige has a few very legitimate “trust” concerns about Nick and his sincerity. The rest of the story is basically hunting down the killer of Nick’s partner and Paige figuring out whether she can live with being the girlfriend of someone who travels a lot for work.

I listened to the Audible version of Kiss Me in the Moonlight narrated by Stacey Glemboski. She did an outstanding job with natural smooth overtones and subtle character nuances. I was totally immersed when listening to her narration and felt like I was watching a chick flick instead of listening to a book. Brava!
Romance well done

Lindzee Armstrong does contemporary adult romance well in Kiss Me in the Moonlight: Destined for Love: Europe. We should all be so lucky to have the passion shared by Nick and Paige...and the adventure. Stacey Glemboski did a good job with this, especially the male/female differences. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

A little romance, a little mystery, I loved it!

I was gifted this book by the author and am providing an honest review.

Paige is trying to recover from heartbreak after her boyfriend dumps her in an email. The perfect way to forget him is to help chaperone a group of teenagers on a European tour over the summer, right? There’s just one small problem, Nick, the aforementioned boyfriend, shows up on said European tour, also as a chaperone. Oops!

Nick had always been a little secretive about his personal life, not sharing the day to day chatter about his job, or even his family. Paige had always chalked it up to the fact that they hadn’t known each other long. They grew very close, very quickly and Paige believed that they would have a future together. When Nick left her, it broke her heart.

Now, Paige would have to deal with Nick on a daily basis for the next three months and she was not happy about it. She let him know right away how angry she was with him and that she did not want anything more to do with him. Nick was also broken hearted without Paige in his life and had decided to tell her the truth and hope that she would give him another chance.

Nick has a lot of former lies and half-truths to explain, and secrets to unveil. As they are beginning to mend their relationship, the teen tour takes a scary turn that will force the two to work together as a team and to make some tough decisions about their lives.

Nick and Paige are strong characters in a well plotted story. I always enjoy Lindzee’s writing style and this book is no exception. This is a wonderful second-chance romance with a little mystery and intrigue mixed in. The narration is wonderfully executed by Stacey Glemboski giving each character their own tone and style. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves romance.

Any additional comments?

Kiss me in the Moonlight is a good book. I don't read many suspense books since they don't keep my attention very well but this book did. What could be better than being in Europe for the summer even with a bunch of teenagers. I not only read the book but was able to listen to the wonderful audio book. It's very nice to have the option of reading yourself or following along while someone else reads, or maybe cleaning, cooking or driving while someone with a great voice reads to you. You won't regret getting the book in either form.

I receive complimentary books for review from publishers, publicists, and/or authors. I am not required to write positive reviews. Sweet with a dash of action

I love this mix of sweet romance and action. Paige and Nick's romance is soo sweet and just the kind of stuff of fairy-tale's and at times its so heartbreaking. I love how Stacey and Lindzee mix all the elements in this story to make something so beautiful and so amazingly sweet and such a loving story. The mystery and suspense mixed in just make this story so much more perfect. This story is light and its never too much and it is just so wonderfully perfect to listen to. I can't wait to hear more of this new series.
