This whetted my appetite for more.
Brax and Mia’s short novella is just the start of what is sure to be an explosive story and this small taste of intrigue has only whetted my appetite for more about this young couple. I liked Brax’s protective nature, Mia’s bravery, and the young love they share and I can’t wait to find out what happens next after that mysterious cliffhanger. I truly enjoyed the narration performances of Amy McFadden and Ryan West who will reprise their roles in the next book Mixed Up With a Marine.

Trigger warning.
Wow, just wow. This story is so intense I couldn't think of anything else while listening. What a beginning to a series, I have to move on to the rest of the story in 'Mixed Up With A Marine.
Amy McFadden did an excellent job. Her voice tho is distinctive and I keep hearing the voices of previous stories she has done.
