Publisher's Summary

Evie doesn't open her eyes so she can't see him, but she can smell him. He thickens the air she breathes, choking her with his scent... his aroma. She shivers. She has to resist. If she's not strong, then she will be relegated to the same fate as this predator whose sickness infects her even now. But now, she craves him and he knows that; he has been counting on her need to end the gnawing pain. How he would savor her surrender. She's alive, but how much longer will it take until she begs him not to be?

OK! Wasn't expecting this book to be soooooo good!

Haven't read any of Amy Bartol's but I plan to listen to the rest of the series. This one was great. Emily Woo Zeller, where did you come from and please narrate more books! She is the voice. I enjoyed your narration. Some say this is like Twilight Series, yes, it is something alike if you want to look at it that way. I have to say, there are twist and turns that are different. Just listen to the book and you will see. I had a hard time putting it down to get some things done. Just wanted to know what would happen next.

Good sequel

Any additional comments?

I just have to say that you get a little tired of the main character seeming weak and depressed. But I had to keep remind myself that shes only 18. Russell's voice is the one I am most disappointed in because I am country and I don't feel like she does a good job at his voice, but I guess it's hard. Still good story. I've listened to all the books. My favorite books series yet.

We here Russell's POV!

Would you consider the audio edition of Intuition to be better than the print version?

Emily Woo Zellar's voices/accents help take Bartol's words and make it more tangible.

What does Emily Woo Zeller bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Emily Woo Zellar's voices/accents help take Bartol's words and make it more tangible.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Evie listening to her voicemail. Binding ceremony.

Intuition is the second book in the Premonition Series by Amy A. Bartol. It is YA urban fantasy/paranormal book told from Evie and Russell’s POV. Books must be read in order to understand the plot.

Intuition picks up shortly after Inescapable ends. Evie is filled with such loss and nightmares she shuts herself away in her room at Reeds. Buns comes home early from Russell’s to help Evie. The book’s descriptions doesn’t do the story justice. Without giving spoilers, enemies are coming at Evie from all directions. She doesn’t know who to trust. Plus she is evolving into a Seraph which leaves her feeling more protective over her friends. She is becoming lethal in a fight. She will go to great lengths in this story to protect Reed, Russell and her friends.

Bartol wrote some of the best scenes and lines I have ever read. Her words connected with me like few other authors ever have. I was a highlighting like crazy in this story. Her use of Shakespeare and Poe were brilliantly done. There was plenty of action in this story. Evie has to learn to fight for her life. It is balanced by heartbreak, romance, humor and friendship story lines. There are so many details I didn’t realize in this book that forecasted storylines in her other books in the series. I was like amazed when it all came together. This series is a must read and are addictive.

We hear Russell’s POV for the first time. I really enjoyed his take on what was going on. His love for Evie is unquestionable now. We also learn some knew information about him and his past since he has started to evolve too.

We have a new villain, Brennus. He’s tall hunky Gancanagh with black hair and sea foam eyes. He’s a wee bit obsessed with Evie. There’s something captivating about him. Don’t get me wrong, he’s no Reed.

I read about 4-5 books per week. Sometimes I read so much; I need to clear my head. I need a book that has all the feels and that is comfortable like coming home. That’s the Premonition Series for me.
Great writing... Great narration...

This series has not disappointed me. I recommend this book for teens and adults. It has unexpected twists and turns and very discriptive action, that definitely plays out in your head as you read . There is romance but it isn't overwhelming at all. Premonition series is Highly recommended!

Not as good as the first

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The story could have been better

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The new bad guys are very interesting.
Least interesting is the way Evie constantly tries to sacrifice herself for everyone. She has been doing this for 6 months but feels she knows more then the other people that have been doing this for eons. It gets old very quickly.

Which scene was your favorite?

nothing stands out

Was Intuition worth the listening time?

If only for the story continuation. I am not sure if I will be getting the next book or not yet.

Any additional comments?

To repeat the above, if I am a new angel and there are others that have been doing it for millions of years, I am not going to think I know what is best and will listen to the experts because, again they have survived for a millinium. Stop being the sacrificial lamb!!

I really like it but....

I was completely in love with the characters because they remind me so much of everyone on Twilight. This is essentially the exact same story only with angels and other mythical creatures/beings. Of course there are different plot twists and the names are different but this is definitely fashioned after Twilight. Still a very good series and I will follow it to the end.

Mixed feelings

I really liked the first book. the second started off alright but once Erie and Russell were training with Zephyr it took me 2 weeks to get through that short part. It usually takes me 1 to 2 days per book but I just could not sit through it longer than 5 mins at a time. The narrator butchers male voices. I cannot stand Russell's and Zephyr's voice. Zephyr sounds like an alien and Russell is just annoying. I feel like the poor narration is detracting from the character. Maybe if I read this book instead of listen to it I'd actually like him and feel for his character buy instead I don't see him as the nice, sweet, boy next door but as a character I can't wait for them to kill off. Once I pushed through dragging parts my interested was finally peaked again once the Ghankana made an appearance. It went uphill from there. I actually enjoyed their voices surprisingly. Overall I feel like Evie is turning into a cliché character. Some of her spontaneous actions annoy me even though she means for the right reasons but sometimes I want to smack her haha. After reading this I bought the next book in the series.

Hmmm

Great listen but I found the plot too be a bit lacking. I thought the end would lead up to some type of twist but nope. I will definitely continue with the series though.
