Another Engrossing Tale

Loved, loved, loved this!! I can't wait for more!! These characters have woven their way into my heart. The narrator is brilliant!!!

What a twist!!!

I was totally shocked by the twist towards the conclusion. I knew it was too good to be true, but I was hoping Sam was just being extra cautious and simply jealous. Unfortunately, Sam’s instincts were spot on and things went south so fast I was dumbfounded. Sam and Alex have gone through so much I did not see that curve ball thrown in the last minute. I think they let their guards down and the enemy seems to be one step ahead of them. I still can’t believe what a horrible turn things have taken.

Narration was well done and brought the story to life.

The story sucked me in right away and kept me hooked from beginning to conclusion. I’m glad Samantha has her memories back, but having to deal with Alex taking off and werewolves gunning for her, she has her hands full. There seems to be a lot more to her magic than what meets the eye.

I’m totally wrapped up into the story and I can’t wait to see if my suspicions are correct. I have a feeling the enemy is closer than we expect.

great sequel

man oh man the things in this book kept me hooked! Samantha is now fully herself having regained her memories and has great snark. she finds out a lot of people in her life are supernatural and she's more important than any could have guessed. as she tries to deal with heartbreak and werewolf attacks she discovers there's more to her magic than she thought. there's some explicit adult content and violence.

Much better this narrator

I’m so glad they went back to the narrator that did Dirty blood she is some much better than book one loving the series

A wonderful continuation

Heather is a wonderful storyteller and has done it again in this book. Kelly Pruner is a significantly better narrator, thank goodness. Overall I really enjoyed this audiobook far more than the first.

Higher power!

A great story of a young girl afraid to use her knowledge of being a witch! She goes to a higher power to learn!

Lots of twists and turns

This book was full of twists and turns. I listened to it in one sitting and was on the edge of my seat throughout. Can't wait to find out what comes next.

Loved

I was not sure how to take the whole back and forth with Sam and Alex. In some ways I was hoping Alex would just leave well enough alone and never return. I love R.J.'s wit and personality and him and Sam together as a team just seemed like the best decision. They pulled from each other. R.J. put Sam at ease and got her to smile. And don't get me started on Evie. I just love her fire.

Inheritance

I really enjoyed this book, the story is engaging and very entertaining. My only issue is that I sometimes really want to smack Sam upside the head because she comes off as a whinny spoiled child. Otherwise I really enjoyed it
