great book!

I learned so much about the earthquake in san francisco in the early 1900s. but, the story was incredible. A great book!

Great San Francisco historical fiction

Often there was trivial detail that was unnecessary and was too much information causing a pause in the flow of the story.

In Times Gone By

Book 3 of this series was not as good as the other two. It did have information about the Earthquake that I did not know. Excellent details and again at the very end. Am going back to the very end and will take some notes.

Did get tired of the Narrator trying to give accents of different ones. Did not notice it that much in the first ones.

I will continue on to another series.

Tracie Peterson’s Golden Gate Series

I thoroughly enjoyed the 3 book 📚 series. The narrator, Angela Lin, was very good. Along with the story and the characters, I also enjoyed learning historical information about the San Francisco 1906 earthquake and the corruption that went on during this period in San Francisco.

Really enjoyed this story

As the 3rd in this series, I enjoyed this one the most. Not a heavy, sappy saga, just an all around good listen. Enjoyed the characters and perfect narration. Would highly recommend.

In Times Gone By

I have really enjoyed this series but I don't know why but I really couldn't get into Ms. Lin narration I have heard her in other books but for this series, I really don't think that she was a match or what I think it should.

I so enjoyed this book of love and intrigue

I think her best in this trilogy although all were great My favorite genre is historical fiction and I learned about life in San Francisco after the earthquake and the far more destructive fire. No sex or profanity but a fantastic story doesn’t need that and the story itself kept me interested very fine chararcter development. The rules of society and class difference added to book also

If you like historical fiction, this is for you

Excellent narrator. The third and final book in this San Francisco series. The earthquake of 1906 is the centerpiece for the storylines continuing about three women who have recently moved west. An enjoyable, easy listening book. I would recommend highly.

Wonderful Series

I enjoyed the story but even more so the history interwoven in the plot. Interesting!

Disappointed

I have read almost all of Tracie Peterson’s amazing storytelling books. They Bless the Lord in so many ways - very thankful for spiritual like you & please continue your talented writing!!!!
Unfortunately, I did not feel the same about In Times Gone By,though.
I had previous read the other 2-books in the series and was looking forward to the last one in series. The story lagged on way too long and gave the ending a disappointing end.. And, also Narrator was too dramatic that gave it less appeal.. This will not stop me from listening to your writings-recently had to go to Audible bec of health & hope to return to reading soon. Thank you, again!
