Great story

A good story. A Great testimony to God and his love for us. Kept me wanting to read more.

Well written, but ...

The story flows well and gives a wonderful glimpse of life during that time. Some parts were almost too harsh to bear. The clear voice of Ms Cozart is much appreciated.

Sweet but terrifying story

This is a really sweet story, though terrifying to re-live in a way, through fiction, the terror that probably many pioneers went through.
The high pitched voice used for the male characters was distracting to me.
Otherwise there is a wonderful message in this story.

A historical novel with Christian values

Grace, the eldest sister, is charged with caring for her younger sisters after their parents death. She uses the traditions of her mother and grandmother to serve others .

Although there are Oregon Trail events and situations that depicted history, the typical happy ever after ending was not typical of real life.

Good Story

Very easy read, not recommended for children however. Love and Family! Some historical topics also.

I've been there! Very accurate as well as enjoyable.

I enjoyed this book even more because I grew up in Vancouver and visited the Vancouver Fort often. My family then moved to Oregon City. I was blessed to attend College at Walla Walla University in College Place Washington and visited the Whitman Mission many times. One thing I noticed, being a native of the area, was the mispronounciation of The Willamette River. it is actually pronounced,"will lamb it". Overall, the book is accurate and it was a pleasure to listen to. Thank-you Ms. Tracey.

Cassandra Campbell is an awesome narrator.

I'll be looking for audible books with Cassandra Campbell as the narrator. She does an awesome job.

a good book by one of my favorite Authors

I like the way the narrator kept the people voices different that you new who's taking.

The story about Grace, Hope & Mercy

Liked this story very much. It was very intriguing and had lots of adventures in it.
