A bit predictable but still thought provoking and satisfying. New insights to historical era and the challenges many faced. Scripture beautifully tied into plot in meaningful way.

God’s consistent and unconditional interaction in our daily lives.

I liked how the story addressed common struggles like loss, anger at God, change, etc. and ties it to scripture. Also loved how the love story developed between Edward and Marybeth.
