Love this world, but...

I really love this world & the characters! However, I really hate the forced overuse of the word c**k in this and previous couple of books in the series. I can only assume it's an effort to be edgy or sexy. It's neither. It adds nothing to the storyline or mood, is unnecessary, and a turnoff.

Yes, the first book in the Psy-changeling series was just as good!

Yes totally! I wish I had time though

What did you love best about Hostage to Pleasure?

These books just keep getting better and better. Things are changing in the Psy-Changeling world. The passion and the love these characters display is what I love the most about them.

Singh adds a bit of spice to the fiction

This is a well-written, interesting story that continues the series, with occasional hot scenes that are a natural part of that story. She makes you want to see what happens next with the pack and their world!

So Good You Won’t Stop Listening

I loved this book when I originally read it and Angela Dawe does a fantastic job bringing Dorian and Ashaya’s story to life. I highly recommend this audiobook and series

Great Story

Would you consider the audio edition of Hostage to Pleasure to be better than the print version?

I listen to audio books because I don't have time to read the book but can listen as I work or as I sew and quilt.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The mail characters are another part of the Psy/Changeling community.

Yes

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If I could listen to the whole book in one sitting I would.

It you like any of the Psy/Changelng books then you need to listen or read the whole series.

This series is so wonderful! so much more story to hear. can hardly wait to listen!

Book is good. New cover art in black is creepy

New cover art on the series with men’s faces on black is creepy, cold and totally off putting. You can’t tell one book in series from another. The nooks are romances about court, often focused on the woman, but all just men on every book. I can see why a publisher would want to rebrand or refresh a series, but these are lazy, creepy, anti-branding. They represent Nothing about the books.

Dorian has been through so much in his life that he is teetering on the edge of a very dangerous cliff. One wrong move or one wrong emotion could send him over. The last thing that Dorian needs it to get tangled up with a Psy. Or that might be the very thing he does need.
Ashaya has been hiding secrets for years. But now that she has defected all her secrets are starting to come out. The only question is who can she trust with them?

Seriously Nalini must be a writing god. I love everything about this series and these books. And this book made me cry! So loved reading Dorian and Ashaya’s story. But I do have a few questions that I hope will get answered in future books.

Angela does an amazing job again in narrating this book. I love that you know each character’s voice no matter which book you are listening too.

If you have not started this series yet you really really need to. But you have to start with book 1.
