Publisher's Summary

I'm supposed to return her to Tristan to finish the deal. But now I'm dreading the day when I have to drop her off. Can I really do it?

I'm not supposed to care about this woman. I'm not supposed to care about anyone, actually. But I care about Bellissimo.

Another amazing series but a cliffhanger...

...and when the series isn’t done, I’ll forget all about it. Hate incomplete works.

If it weren’t a cliffhanger the book would have been a solid 10 stars.

Great Narrators and story

This is a great series and the narration makes it even better! Penelope Sky is one of my favorite authors.

I love the voices of each character.

Each character is portrayed with a unique voice that , when listening, which makes each character come alive. The male voice does not portray the women's voices as well, but each female voice is unique!

Now onto the book. I loved how much Button and Crow were so involved in the story. There were a few discrepancies such as Crow stated he was raised on his estate when in the first books he said he purchased the vineyard and the house when he was 19, but most of these errors where minor and did not impact the story. I don't like that Adelina was so so....I don't know. I found her too easy. I like Pearl so much more. The first three books were so awesome I have red them again twice, whereas while this storyline is good it is not GREAT but I would still highly recommend this entire series. I love Cane even though he is so different in these books. Could not believe the ending! Did npot see that coming. At ALL! Luckily I only have to wait two more days!!!!! Yeah!!!

Wow, loved it

Loved how the brothers relationship seems to have grown, how they both found love. I was disappointed that the author seemed to forget that Cane had planted a tracker in Adelina. The tracker would have told him she was alive and her location in the house when he rescued her. And what happen to Adelina interest in her friend. We know what happen to her, but it was Adelina concern for her that put her back in there and Adelina doesnt even ask about her. Overall I loved the story and cant wait for the next installment, but hope the author does a better job with the next one.

Good continuation, but series too long

Too drawn out, and now I have to buy a sixth book. I see the next series (Scotch King) is in 3 parts. Probably won’t continue to support authors who do this, especially when it’s just “good”. Not great.
Male narrator does a horrible female voice. Also, in almost every book someone gets a migraine from being hit on the head. That’s not a migraine; it’s a headache. The author needs an editor.

Love the series but so sick of the word “ incredulous “ . Seriously.

Love the series but distracted by abuse of the word “incredulous “ in book #5.
Looking forward to final book.

If you are reading my review, you are addicted.

It's a great series, but I have a few nits to pick. Every time I see the word bellisimo in the book description, blurb, or whatever, I cringe. If the narrator can say it correctly, why can't someone just fix the spelling of one single important word, the loving pet name of Adelina? For cripes sake.

Penelope wrote Pearl so well, she will always be on my list as a brave, loving, and enduring character, but she fell short of the mark with Adelina. I think I loved and hated Crow in this book just as much as I did in the first two books.

Samantha Cook was as believable as Adelina the southern belle, as Pearl, the New Yorker. Michael F. did at least four characters, his brother Cane, Tristan the Frenchman, Pearl, Lars, and Constantine. Each character was consistent.
