Ah, Ireland
Of the three in this trilogy, I was surprised to find I liked the other two better. The best one for me was "Born In Ice." They all strike chords in one, but for some reason this one didn't with me. This could be for a lot of reasons having to do with me, not the books. I read this one last.
The narrator was wonderful, and I really enjoyed listening to the performance. I have read other Nora Roberts books in print form, and I am considering getting them through Audible so I can "hear" that Irish voice for real.

Amazing Story, bad American accent
I really love this trilogy, particularly books one and three. The narrator did a fine job on all the Irish parts, but I cringed when he tried to do an American voice, somehow made them seem hillbilly-ish and uneducated. Didn’t stop me from enjoying the story though.

“Friends” I love to visit!
I’ve loved this whole trilogy for years, the characters have become friends I enjoy visiting time after time. Fiacre’s voice takes me back to my Irish roots, and Nora’s writing is so authentic. Beautiful descriptions and character development.
Would love to know what they’re all up to now and learn about the children!

Get caught up in Ireland
If you could sum up Born in Shame in three words, what would they be?
This is a really enjoyable read. Feels like your right there. It was hard for me to put down and hated when it was done. Wanted more
