Kept me completely entertained

This was a great older book of NR. The characters are interesting and the story develops in a very engaging way. Enjoy!

I am always happy to find one of Nora Robert's older books that I haven't read. this one was a keeper...and I didnt figure it out until the end...I loved that!

STUNNING!

Oh my word, I absolutely loved this book. The story was so beautiful and the narrator did an excellent job. This is definitely now one of my favourite Nora Roberts' books! Well worth my credit and my time.

classic Romantic Suspense a la 1991

Hollywood legend Eve Benedict decides she wants to have her biography written by Julia Simmons. The only catch: Julia and her son Brandon must leave their home in Connecticut to live on the estate with Eve while working on the project. Eve is larger-than-life and has many colorful stories to tell. And many who don't want their stories told. Eve's stepson, writer Paul Winthrop, is very negative at the start of the project, but soon finds Julia to be essential to him; and is charmed by a 10 yr old Brandon. Events come to a head when Eve reveals her most devastating secret, rocking Julia to the core; and providing camouflage for a killer to make their move. Joyce Bean is a classic narrator for a classic story. Recommend.

Suspense, Mystery and Romance... what could be better? Love the narrator. Easy to understand. Speaks clearly and read in a way that you can't stop listening.

Mystery, Romance & Everything in Between

This is hands down THE BEST Nora Robert’s book I’ve read. And, I’ve read A LOT of her books. This had all the makings of a great mystery novel with Nora Robert’s’ romance. Right when I thought I knew where the plot was headed, it took another turn! It was an amazing ride... with strong female characters calling the shots. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
