Publisher's Summary

Can you name the ten commandments? That's all right...you're not alone. More people claim to live by the ten commandments than those who know what they are, let alone what they mean. In this audio program, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, author of the best selling How Could You Do That? and host of her own internationally syndicated radio program, and Rabbi Stewart Vogel, spiritual leader of Temple Aliyah in Woodland Hills, CA, collaborate to read their modern application of God's laws, incorporating lively discussions on the Bible and the Judeo-Christian values derived from it.

The Ten Commandments

This book should be mandatory reading for anyone delving into Judeo/Christian studies. My one wish is that Audible had the unabridged version.

The research and clear explanation of the Ten Commandments is wonderful. This is not just a book on what the commandments are, but rather why they are, and how the imapct of each one reaches far and wide into everyones' lives whether they are a Christian or a Jew.

The content of this book is 5 stars...the reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because I found the Rabbi's voice to be distracting because of his lisp. Dr. Laura and the Rabbi trade off every other commandment and I found myself bracing inside when I realized Dr. Laura's segment was coming to an end.

Please do not let that change your mind about this book though. The quality of the information inside is too good to pass up.

What the World needs, especially, NOW!

So beautifully and simplistically explained and the Narrators so very articulate. I, intently, listened to every word which filled me with an inner joy - the Word of G-d!

It is sad and disturbing that most Christian churches do not hold to the Ten Commandments (the basis of the Torah) as the foundation to their faith.

"Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path". Ps.119:105

Thank you, Laura Schlessinger and Rabbi Stewart Vogel, for your wisdom in understanding G-d's Word and making it available to all who would 'Hear' (Sh'ma)!
