A Must Read for Followers of Christ

Check your made up mind and heart of stone at the title page. This books reminds readers of the responsibility followers of Christ have to love and serve others. Befriending others puts you in the practice of Jesus. Sauls deals with some challenging topics but does so with love, grace, and truth. Read this book, engage its content, and do as Jesus did, befriend.

I love books by Scott Sauls. This one has a message we all need to hear.
the narrator is good, but I recommend putting him on 1.5 speed.

Best book I’ve read this year

I read/listened to another book of his last year and it was my favorite book last year as well. I have some reading goals for 2023 and one of them now is to read everything this author has written. (That might be too lofty for one calendar year for me-I have no idea what else he has written, but regardless, this is the kind of Christian I long to be.) He’s getting it right when it comes to the way God calls us to love others and that’s my hearts desire…to get it right when it comes to loving God and loving people…His image bearers.
