He went to prepare a place for us

I loved this book. In the beginning I was skeptical. But as I listened and saw that it was all in line with scripture I was glad. The reader did a good job. The book I couldn't get enough. About a month after listening to "Heaven" I lost a friend who passed on to be with our Savior. What a comfort it was to think about where my friend is in detail. All I could be was happy for him. And I look forward to seeing him again. This book is such a comfort and hope because it points out the comfort and hope the Bible gives us that we often overlook or don't understand.

Inspiring

I was glad for the use of scripture to give weight to his insights. This is a great book to use with scripture to give insight into what heaven will be like.

Very good!

I chose this book because I have AML and possibly only have a year to live. I have been a Christian for 36 years but really never gave heaven much thought. Knowing I will be there soon I decided to learn more . This book definitely gave me a longing for heaven!

A must for every believer

The author, using scripture, pieces together and paints a beautiful picture of our eternal home with Jesus. I can't wait!

Thorough, solid, necessary teaching on heaven

I wish I had heard all this years ago...better late than never. Having a fuller and more biblically sound understanding of heaven makes a huge difference on one's view of this world. Too many Christians have an escapist mentality which does little to inspire non-believers to even respect us, let alone follow in our footsteps.

Good, not great.

It has some great concepts in it, but there is FAR too much repetition. He returns to the same concepts over and over again with just the slightest variation. This would have been more valuable if it were more succinct.

Solid Theology and Well Written!

This was a very well written book, and it was laid out very well. Alcorn did an aging job illustrating his points, but more importantly he used Scripture as his primary source. in addition, Fabry did a very good job narrating the book allowing for the experience to be more enjoyable.
