Inspiring Stories with a few exceptions....

I first bought the paperback version of this book. it was so inspiring I decided to get the Audible version. however as exciting and as beautiful and inspiring as the paperback is, this Audible book falls flat. Some of the content from the paperback never made it to the Audible version. And while the paperback version is very inspiring to read, the narration in the Audible version is very dry and mechanical without any natural inflection or intonation. Sounds like it was read by a computer. And that's the bad thing of it all. I mean when you are hearing people's testimony of having died and gone to the other side and seen God and Heaven and all the Divine things that go on there, you would expect to hear a little of that inspiration come through the narration. But it doesn't. A lot of the sentences fall off in an unnatural down pitch ending like a computer. The voice is so disruptive to the flow of the story that it begins to pull attraction away from what I'm supposed to be listening to as a book. Perhaps it would have been better to be read by a computer in which case you wouldn't be scratching your head wondering why a living breathing human would want to have a computerized drone voice. Yes I still give it higher Stars because the people who share their testimonies of visiting heaven deserve to have their stories heard. Please excuse my rant over this, but I find reading the stories in this case are much more interesting. The wonderful divine blessing of God does come through in spite of human imperfections in manufacturing this version. The narrator has done better in other books. Overall it is a good book, a great book by the stories. But I would recommend the paperback version if this Andudible version does not suit your fancy.

Re-record please 😬

This is one of my favorite books on heaven and I want to send this audible to my friends, but it’s hard to get past the performance. I’m so sorry but this book is powerful. I’m sure I’m not the first to express this, so I will not further critique the reading. GREAT BOOK!!!

Beautiful

very touching heart felt truths but I was taken aback by the first story by Brother Dean Braxton when he said he looked at God the father in his eyes. "NO MAN SEE GOD THE FATHER FACE AND LIVE". people have gone to heaven and seen Jesus's face, yes, because God allows it. Christ walks amongst the saints in heaven . The Lord Jesus had even shown me himself in a vision and what they did to him on the cross. I was awake and slightly dozing off and I heard a commotion as from a crowd. I started to wonder in myself and this very young man appeared before me, I looked into his piercing blue eyes and shouted Jesus, and prostrated in the Spirit. Then he started showing me what was done to him on the cross. flesh torn from his body literally. I couldn't look at the sight. He hung on the cross and didn't look good at all. Thank God for revealing his undying love for us. The narrator sounded pretty fake, especially reading the first story, they should have used someone else with more spirituality., but the truth of the message is what matters the most. Thank God for his blessing

Poor Narration / Good Book

It's very difficult to engage with the stories due to the narration being very unnatural in intonation and emphasis.

The way the narrator reads is awful. Was too hard to listen to the book. So a waste of money

Totally Misleading

Narrator is terrible. There were not 10 incidents referred to during this book but only 1! People want to hear from multiple sources and experiences to understand how all or any have commonalities that we can gain understanding and confidence within. CRAP!

Answers Questions about Heaven

I really enjoyed this book and the different accounts and witnesses to Heaven. As a believer, this isn’t a shock but rather reassuring information to live, believe and know Jesus Christ. I wish everyone could read this book.

Riveting stories - pity re prejudice

Whilst I really enjoyed the stories and learned a lot the prejudice in the narrator’s voice and expression was disturbing.

Please familiarise yourself with how people self-identify so it’s Arab and not A-Rab!
