Publisher's Summary

Correspondence has fallen into our hands that we were not intended to see. Foulgrin, a high-ranking demon, instructs his subordinate how to deceive and destroy Jordan Fletcher and his family. It's like placing a bugging device in hell's war room, where we overhear our enemies assessing our weaknesses and strategizing attack. To win the battle, we must know our God, know ourselves, and know our enemy. Lord Foulgrin's Letters is written to help us become better acquainted with each.

Wonderful!

I strongly recommend this audio book. It is both uplifting and confronting. It has opened my eyes anew to spiritual warfare taking place around us. It was easy to listen to to. I was totally absorbed. Will definitely be downloading more from this author.

A must have for everyone to know who is behind ??

Don't miss this one! It is a must have for everyone to know who is behind a lot of things going on in ones life. It is not just chance nor luck; its something, someone; and he has a strategy, a plan or should I say they have a strategy and a plan

If you could sum up Lord Foulgrin's Letters in three words, what would they be?

Don't miss this

C.S. Lewis would be proud!

What made the experience of listening to Lord Foulgrin's Letters the most enjoyable?

Listening to Lord Foulgrin, himself!

What other book might you compare Lord Foulgrin's Letters to and why?

The Screwtape Letters, of course. However, Alcorn's story is truly original and a masterpiece in its own right. A great companion to Screwtape.

What does Frank Muller bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He makes the character really come alive through his wonderful voice-acting. He adds a level of creepiness that is dead-on.

Who was the most memorable character of Lord Foulgrin's Letters and why?

Lord Foulgrin ! Colorful, mean, nasty, haughty, proud, supercilious and evil. A great villain!

Any additional comments?

This is a wonderful story in the tradition of "The Screwtape Letters" (the author even gives a clever literary nod to Lewis in the story!). Not only is this a great story, but the writing is excellent. Alcorn also seamlessly weaves in contemporary Christian themes without being preachy, far from it! Frank Muller does a fine job with all character voices, but his Lord Foulgrin is absolutely superb.

Alcorn at his best.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. Gives you a possible view from the other side of the battle. Shows what true weakness is.

What did you like best about this story?

The opportunity to enjoy the truth of the futility of the enemy and his position.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes but obviously to long for that.

Any additional comments?

Listened to this with my wife who tries to avoid christian fiction. She really enjoyes it and it gave us great fodder for conversation.

Entertaining, informative, necessary, vital

What does Frank Muller bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?

The narration is excellent and done in a fashion similar to other works of fiction such as detective/mystery novels.

Any additional comments?

An enjoyable story which teaches Christians about the true nature of this reality. It is helpful to be able to keep in mind the spiritual war that is underway between demonic beings and Christians. It is very important for Christians to know about such things to be able to pray appropriately.

Eye Opener

This is a story about a #devil teaching an #underling. How to prevent a human from becoming a #Christian. The story is #interesting and gave me an understanding of how #satan works. I did not like the snarly way Lord Foulgrin was read. I also did not enjoy the #background music. #tagsgiving and #sweepstakes

Excellent work! In the vein of Screwtape letters.

The content is excellent and really makes you think. The performance takes a while to get used to. The voicing back-and-forth between the story part, and the letters eventually becomes normalized.

There are some points that are really quite fantastic and getting you to see points in a way that not much else can. Highly recommend this work in every regard.

Good listen

This was a good book to listen. While many may say that it is too fictitious, the tactics that the devil uses are pretty much similar. It's good to know how the evil one is working and be able to discern good from evil. Loved the narration and the sound effects.
