Wow! Just wow!

I have listened to close to 50 books on audible, and I really appreciate it when there is a good reader. My favorites are those read by the author. This is one of those books. Through Nabeel, I learned so much about the Muslim culture that I was not even aware of. I love how he hungers and thirsts after the truth and how his story is brought to life through the passion that I can hear in his voice. He has piqued my hunger too and opened my eyes to some of the mysterious things of God and the Bible that I will investigate on my own. I plan to read or listen to his other books. This book was fantastic and I loved Nabeels story and the way he went about his journey.

Very Enlightening

I am a Christian Arab and I know very little about Islam. I found this book to be very educational when it comes to what Muslims believe explaining their view of Christianity. That’s a good starting point to understand where they are coming from and to gain ideas of how to engage them and to bring the gospel to them.

What a gut punch

I listened to this audiobook as I drove from my home to work. Listening to it through the reading of the author himself, I connected with him. I felt his anguish, he taught me so much about his life and the life of Muslims. I also learned a lot about western Christians. He captivated me with his writing style and drew me in with every word. I did not research the author prior to reading this book. I enjoyed it very much and cannot wait to read more and look him up after I finished. And then, through the audio additions to the book, I learned of his diagnosis with cancer and subsequent passing. What a gut punch. What a lovely man, his love for God, and his family. I pray I could come close to living with such fervency as this man.

Better than reading the book

The late author narated this book himself. it think the audible version makes it better than reading it, although you will get more information by reading the book.

One of the few books that made me cry

Absolutely an incredible life. I am so glad and honored that I got the chance to listen to Nabeel’s story, and to hear his heart and his journey to finding Jesus. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Listening to it has been like pouring new concrete around the foundations of my faith. If you don’t listen to anything else, listen to this book!
