Sweet little cozy mysteries

These are sweet lil mysteries that have a touch of romance. They are lighthearted and cute. If you like this genre then these are for you. I hadn’t listened to this kind of book much but still enjoyed them. I think that people saying it’s the same thing over and over is probably because if you listen to the same kind of short story over and over I think it really does seem like it’s the same so it’s important that you really think of each one individually.

These are cute mysteries that will let you smile instead of keeping you on edge. Meg, the white witch that doesn't want to be one, gets involved in solving way too many mysterious disappearances for her own good. Strange how solving mysteries and food cravings go hand in hand with her... The stories are light mysteries if such genre exists and easy to listen to with a pleasant narrative. Of course it is also a bit of a "mystery" why Meg doesn't resort more often to her gift in order to help her out in solving cases, but wanting so bad to fit in might be incentive enough for her.
The narration is very well done and the interpretation right on the money.

Love it.

I enjoyed the fact that i was able to read all books back to back. They were very entertaining and enjoyed trying to figure who the killer was. I have to agree with other readers that Meg sure does lose a lot of friends. But other wise i enjoyed Meg helping her boyfriend Conner catch the killer. I love the cat. She is hilarious. I would like to read more of these. I received this bundle as a gift in exchange for a honest review.

This box set is a series of easy listening mysteries about a witch that owns a donut shop. I wish there was a bit more magic in the story, and that the main character didn't use some phrases over and over. As for narration, there are a lot of times when the narrator would repeat herself or you could hear pages turning.

Fantastic Family Clean, Cozy Mystery set

This is an amazing eight book mystery set. All the books could be stand alones. Each has main characterd, plots with different themes, different stories and endings. Meg owns a donut shop. Sheis is an amateur sleuth and a witch that has kept the fact she is a witch secret. The characters are believable and interesting. Her grandma transferred her soul into a cat so ... you have a talking cat. How would you feel if your cat talked to you. There are mant funny parts, some mild romance,a little paranormal. I recommend this book set as it is clean no foul lsnguage, gore or frank sex.

cozy rest mysterious are always a wonderful listen. meg may seem to be in too deep but as always she pulls it out. even though this case is very personal to her and close to her heart she knows that the best person to solve the case is her.

Sweet, funny, and easy to listen to. Enjoyed immensely, and was just what I needed at the end of a tough day.

Cute, but repetitive story lines

This is a cute set of stories, but the details, dialogue and storylines are repetitive...a bit too cookie cutter.

not bad just ok

basically the same story 8 times. very simple. editing was bad. repeats sentences many times throughout all the books. wished I had saved my credit to simple. might be good for young teens. no big aspect of witches either

Light read/listen

The book is about Meg who is a witch but doesn't want anyone to know. She was a sleuth but was wanting to quit. There is a murder and she was drawn in again. Her boyfriend is a police officer which allows her to get into investigations. She doesn't use any magic...strange. If your a sleuth why not use magic to help find the perpetrator. It was a light read/listen. The books are short but enjoyable. The narrator does a fair job at the narration.
