Intense, edge of your seat

Intense, edge of your seat story with such emotion. Pamela's I-Team stories do not disappoint. Flow of emotions while listening run the spectrum: anxious, fear for the outcome, goofy happiness, shock and dismay, you name it... all leading to an HEA for Mark and Sophie after many trials and close calls. Narration great as always with Kaleo Griffith.

Loved it, Love this series. It's a can't stop listen. definitely one of my favorites. Narrator is terrific too. I like how the characters intertwine. I actually find myself wanting to go back to the previous stories to revisit the characters.

I cried so many times!!!

I could never settle down through this story, couldn't sleep couldn't stop, so much drama!!! I couldn't keep going, couldn't stop, I was in so much turmoil the entire book. LOVED IT!!!

Yes, he is very good and improved in his portrayal of female characters

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

There were moments that made me chuckle & parts that 'squeezed' at my heart a bit...books don't usually give me extreme reactions. This book was very intense and suspenseful.

Some graphic sexual contact and strong language.

Even though I had read the book. I still laughed and cried and felt for the characters as I listened to the story.

Loved the Hero, but Heroine was slow on the uptake

Not quite a 4 because the heroine was a bootleg reporter. How can Sophie be an I-Team reporter when she was so naive, dense, unobservant, passive and just slow on the uptake?
Great narration. This guy has done a great job telling this story.

Sophie Alton and her brother grew up with her grandmother after her parents died in a car crash. In a spontaneous act when she was 16, she had sex with her high school crush, a senior guy she only knew as Hunt. Hunt left for the military the day after, and Sophie never heard from him again.

12 years later, Sophie worked as an I-team reporter and she was working on a story with drug addicted inmates and the pregnancies behind bars. One of her subjects Meghan went missing with her newborn baby and drugs were found in her cell. A man hunt ensued for the missing convict and the newborn baby. Meghan's brother decided that this interested reporter, Sophie, would be his key in finding his sister. So the convicted murder Marc Hunter set up an interview with Sophie and then held her hostage and escaped.

During this hostage situation, Sophie found out that Marc Hunter was her "Hunt". He told her his story and she had to figure out if she trusted him enough to jeopardize her career and get to the bottom of who framed him, Meghan and what was going on in that correctional facilities.

What I enjoyed about this series is the author tackles pretty serious topics. And the author goes all in. Not the fluffy stuff. The series is also well written. The heroine was a bit slow, but I loved Marc. He was a stand up guy.

I have always had a love of reading and now with dimming eyesight , I have transferred that love to audio books. This author, Pamela Clare, is one of my top 5 authors. I held my breath, cried and laughed out loud. Probably even learned a good bit about journalism . She makes it real.

Wow this one was a winner

What made the experience of listening to Unlawful Contact the most enjoyable?

In "Hard Evidence" Kaleo Griffith did a so so performance and I almost didn't get "Unlaw Contact" because of that reason, but I just decided to grin and bare it because I couldn't doubt the reviews I read. They were all raving with the exception of one. I am so glad I decided to purchased it, because I have consider Pamela Clare to be another of my favorite authors, and will be getting the other I-team novels.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes. I kept thinking it has to end good but it seemed like it would be one of the few with a grave ending. There are just a handful of books that make me teary eyed and this one was a flat out crying book; but not because of how it ended but because the way it sounded like it was heading. I listen to my audio books all the time and rarely have my ear buds out. Of course I was at the crying stage in the middle of the store and was asked by everyone if everything was ok.

Oh, it sure got a tear shedding reaction form me. Kaleo Griffith did a flawless performance.

Couldn't stop listening!

This was a great suspense romance novel and had me finishing this book within a week! The story was written wonderfully.

YES! Great Story, Sexy Narrator

Being the third book in the series, I think I loved this book as much or maybe more than the first two. Lots of hot romance, wonderfully suspenseful action, intrigue, murder and some violence.

Hunt & Sophie's story includes the other characters from Book 1 & Book 2 making it hard to decide which series HUNK I lust, I mean like the best.

OMG, the narrator's sexy male voice... Doesn't get much better.

Buy all 3 books in this series for an exciting sexy listening adventure!
