The volume range is such either I could not hear the soft words or alternating loud ones hurt my eardrums.
What a fantastic 1st if a series. Not what you would expect. I expected the usual stuff but very pleasantly surprised. Recommended.

...which I found difficult to get into however, once I focussed on the story properly, I really enjoyed this fast paced story - and didn’t want to switch it off. I liked the way the characters developed through their own lenses, their relationships and principles. Interesting splattering if general knowledge and a satisfactory conclusion.

I didn’t get on with this book and gave up on it. The story didn’t grip me and seem overblown and I found the narrator tried to hard in getting the words over. Overall a pity but there you go perhaps it’s just me as others seemed to like it.
