Publisher's Summary

A Rick Fuller thriller.

Book 5, The Fellowship.

Todd Blackman’s murderers are dead, and Yunfakh, the latest organised crime gang to come out of the Arab world, have been driven from the streets of Manchester. But MI6 and the CIA are now determined to rid the rest of the world of this powerful new gang by targeting their leader, Abdallah Al-Mufti.

With Des wounded, Cartwright tasks Rick to travel to Southern Ireland alone. Posing as an old IRA player, Fuller’s job is to buy a stockpile of weapons left over from the Troubles and sell them to men he hopes will lead him to Al-Mufti. However, what is left of the Provo’s have other ideas. Even 20 years on, Rick Fuller’s scalp is a precious commodity.

With action from beginning to end, THE FELLOWSHIP is a rip roaring ride that will keep you listening until the very end.

Exciting ... but !

I have 'read' the previous four books and looked forward to this after a gap of about a year. This book refers back to previous episodes regularly and I just couldn't remember what went on before. I like the old characters and I like the new one. I wish I had time to reacquaint myself with them prior to 'reading' this. Don't start on this book, read the others first !

Good story but frustrating

I really like this series but found this book frustrating as it seemed to start without warning right after the previous book which I read sometimes ago... As a result it took me a few chapters to get upto speed. The story seemed half baked and rushed, and then it ended. The end is clearly for the next book to follow directly on...

Listen with ease

Listening to this was brilliant. I’m hooked on Rick fuller series and Nicholas camm is amazing. I sit there in a world of my own and the expressions on my face must tell a thousands words, from the stifled chuckle as Des with his wit and banter ... to Rick with his one liners .... all adds to the brilliant book.
I’m hoping there’s going to be more than one more in this series - such good Audible

Disappointing ending

I’m somewhat old fashioned in that I like a story with a beginning, middle and ending. This one had me puzzled. Chapters one and two were OK but chapter 3 jumped into the middle of a completely different scenario. I thought there was a recording issue at first, but no, it had begun a continuation of the previous book in the series which I vaguely remembered reading some time ago. I really enjoyed the book after that, once I’d pieced the story together, but just as it was getting exciting, it stopped, and I have to wait until the next book in the series appears to find out what happens next. By then (I’m getting a bit long in the tooth) I will have forgotten this story, so I’m not going to buy another, if I can remember! Such a pity because I love the writing and the stories, but I like a story to have a conclusion, so it’s not for me.

Slow start but worth staying with

Brilliant narrator, best I've heard. Very slow start but another great book if a slightly disappointing end.

Not great.

This book is not up to the same standard as the previous books in this series. The story feels like it was rushed by the author with little attention to detail. Massive firefights take place and never a mention of police appearing, even hours after these gun fights . HALO parachute jumps into Kerry.? A bit far fetched, its supposed to be Ireland, not war torn Syria or Afghanistan..Narrators 'Oirish' accent is atrocious. Story has the pathetic stereotypical drunken Irish characters, which is a cheap shot.. Disappointed in the book, but still enjoyed it on some level.

Fantastic stuff!

This series gets better and better. The unique way that the story is told from the perspective of the three main characters is very effective indeed, and yet another intriguing character has been introduced to the team. I can't wait for the next installment.
