the rushed ending lost all the stars

I make lots of allowances for this type of light, sugary. coffee-shop murder mystery, and it was doing very well until the end. When all the questions are answered in the last 10 minutes by explanation rather than by action or conversation, you cannot get better than an "okay" rating. The who and why were sudden reveals that had no lead-in so the end was rather disappointing. Otherwise the characters were realistic and full, and the narration was good.

Not my cup of cappuccino

Such a thin story. Would not recommend it. No build-up to who the killer is.

Simplistic

Everything goes perfectly for Fran. A guy who pays for all date meals out, a dog who finds her, Only one ridiculous amateur detective mistake.
Not very interesting.

Cute Read

Cute cook! The characters are lovable, the plot pacing is great. With just a sprinkle of romance. Narrator did an excellent job.

Cappuccino, cupcakes & a Corpse

Story is ok, a little repetitive in sections. Character development is strong with some but shallow on others. Ending was a surprise.

Narration is acceptable.

Excellent Cozy!

Loved these characters. They were kind, smart, and like people who you’d want to know in real life. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
