Story
The ADHD brain comes with some unique challenges, and until we recognize what they are, they will keep getting in our way. Starting new things, stopping others, concentrating, studying, getting stuff done, paying the bills, and getting on with life just seems so much harder for you than for others. That’s because it actually is, and it is time we faced up to this. ADHD brains are not wrong, weak, or broken–just different. And because the world is set up for neurotypical people, those with ADHD struggle to fit in with these systems which are not matched to them or their needs at all.

It's comforting to imagine that superstars in their fields were just born better equipped than the rest of us. When a co-worker loses 20 pounds, or a friend runs a marathon while completing a huge project at work, we assume they have more grit, more willpower, more innate talent, and above all, more motivation to see their goals through. But that's not at actually true, as popular Inc.com columnist Jeff Haden proves. "Motivation" as we know it is a myth. Motivation isn't the special sauce that we require at the beginning of any major change.

Story
One day, I was at a restaurant with my wife, and as we were finishing up our meal, our server handed us a survey form. Realizing neither of us had a pen, my wife told me to ask the server if we could borrow one to fill out the form. Instead of doing this, I walked to the parking lot, retrieved a pen from our car, and walked back to our table. It would’ve been easier to just borrow a pen, but I opted for the route that involved less social interaction. I did this automatically, without even thinking.

Adult ADHD can affect men in different ways. Men may experience it in various ways, and its symptoms can be more challenging to detect. Men with ADHD are often overlooked, leaving many who are struggling with their abilities to feel isolated or confused about what they're experiencing. While the underlying mechanisms of ADHD are still being studied, it is thought that the male brain may process information differently than the female brain, which could account for some of these differences. This audiobook was written for men who think they have ADHD or have been diagnosed with it.

"Men with ADHD: Empowering and Informative Book
I absolutely loved "Men with ADHD" by Nick Johnson and James Smith, narrated by Brian Chojnacki. This book is a fantastic resource for anyone who wants to learn more about ADHD, specifically in men.
The authors provide a comprehensive overview of ADHD and its effects on daily life, but what really stood out to me was their positive and affirming tone. Rather than viewing ADHD as a hindrance or a weakness, the authors highlight the unique strengths and abilities that can come with the condition. This made me feel seen and understood, and encouraged me to embrace my ADHD as a part of who I am.
Brian Chojnacki's narration was exceptional. He delivered the authors' words with passion and authenticity, making the book easy to follow and understand. His ability to convey the authors' emotions and intentions added to the overall listening experience and made the book even more engaging.
What I appreciated most about "Men with ADHD" was the practical advice and strategies for managing ADHD symptoms, as well as the inspiring stories of successful men who have thrived with ADHD. This book is a must-read for anyone with ADHD or anyone who wants to understand and support men with the condition.
Overall, "Men with ADHD" is a valuable resource that encourages self-acceptance, resilience, and growth. The authors' message is brought to life in a powerful and memorable way by Brian Chojnacki's narration. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to learn more about ADHD and how to live a fulfilling life with the condition.

As a Woman & Mother This Book Gave Great Insights!
As a woman with a distinct fascination with figuring out ADHD and looking for self-awareness, "Men with ADHD: The Total Aide for Coordinating, Conquering Interruptions, and Reinforcing Connections" ended up being a flat out pearl. Albeit basically equipped towards men, I found an overflow of commonsense insight that has enormously advanced my life.
This book recording is a far reaching and savvy asset that dives profound into the difficulties looked by people with ADHD. The creator's compassionate tone and master guidance make it simple to connect with the encounters shared, paying little heed to orientation.
By and large, "Men with ADHD" is an exceptional aide that takes special care of a wide crowd. Whether you're a man with ADHD looking for help or a lady hoping to grow your comprehension, this book is an unquestionable requirement. I earnestly suggest it!

VERY INFORMATIVE
Men With ADHD" is a thorough and Intuitive research of the unique experiences and challenges faced by men with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The audiobook is an informative and valuable asset for anyone seeking to better understand and support men with ADHD. Their composing style is very engaging and accessible, and the audiobook is well-organized and easy to follow. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in this topic. Too many books fail to address the stigmas of mental health illnesses in men but this book amazingly captured it well. The book does well to balance the biological explanations of ADHD with the social contexts of it. The book also does a good job at exploring the assortment of signs that are present in persons with ADHD.

My ADHD story.
If you are someone looking for some direction. This may be the book that helps you find your way. I personally struggled my whole life with ADHD. Being diagnosed at a young age. Just taking that information in. Never doing anything with it other than what the doctors said. Fast forward 15 years later struggling with many of the same issues I was as a kid. Never being able to make sense of it all. Eventually hitting my own rock bottom. While I was at my lowest. Alone. Having to figure out my mistakes. I found this book. This book has changed my mindset entirely. How to live and deal with my diagnosis. Something I never addressed before. Never would of been able to without this book. 10/10

This book is so good I've taken notes!
I want to begin by saying that the fact that the author that wrote a book for Men with ADHD, is in fact someone who HAS ADHD helped me trust his opinion on the matter even more. As most of us are aware of, mental illness is a topic that is very hard to be accepted in a society where men are unfortunately expected to be "strong" and keep their emotions "under control".
Men with ADHD and any other type of condition face challenges that go beyond any one of could ever imagine! He starts with a detailed explanation of symptoms and how they manifest themselves in children and then in men. He also explains how some people/Men with ADHD can develop either symptoms of inattentiveness or hyperactivity, and that some individuals won't necessarily develop both symptoms altogether, which a lot of us I'm sure, where unaware of. This is vital to understand, because it will allow those who educate themselves on the topic to pick up signs in loved ones/acquaintances that are affected by this condition a lot sooner.
I have so much more to say about how much I've learned about Men with ADHD, how much hope this book can bring into the lives of so many of them that may be feeling misunderstood and alone. Something the author wants them to know, and I'm quoting him here: "You're not broken. You're not a failure..." Wow.
