Relatable

What I loved the most is the relatability of this book. Hearing real life people's journey through navigating challenges such as adult ADHD was nice. I learn best through storytelling and Estelle did a fantastic job at this. I am looking forward to applying the knowledge I learned from this book into my own life.

Your past does not define you!

I really enjoyed this audiobook. The humor and narrator made it very enjoyable. Each chapters is focused on a different area such as mindset, body, brain, feelings, home, work, money, social and romantic life. Within each chapter are practical and simple steps how to thrive and overcome the challenges facing women. While there is a focus on those with ADHD, I found it very helpful and beneficial to any woman living a busy life looking to improve mental wellbeing.

Loved it!!!

Empowered Women With ADHD
By Estelle Rose
When I was approached by Rosali Publishing to read/listen this book, I was a little nervous, I’ve never reviewed a non-fiction book before but I have to say it was a complete pleasure and very helpful. Thank you Rosali Publishing and Estelle Rose for the opportunity. I’ve never been diagnosed with ADHD, but as a middle age woman ( gosh I hate saying that) I’ve wondered about it, I do have a lot of the symptoms and both my adult children have been diagnosed at point in their lives, my son as a child and my daughter as an adult. Which I’ve learned from this book is quite common. This book is a “guide/handbook”, that gives awesome suggestions and tools on how to organize your life and deal with the symptoms those with ADHD struggle with daily. As I was listening I kept thinking I need a to share share with certain people in my lives. Make sure you to listen!!!!

The only book for ADHD I'll need

This book is many things to me. Comforting and relatable yet super informative and full of helping, healthy, evidence based tips to assist with emotional dysfunction, eating habits and even impulsivity.
I love how Estelle talks not only about why implementing some of these changes can be beneficial, she also provides step by step instructions and resources you can follow to actually stay motivated in keeping these healthy changes.
I love her encouragement of a positive reward after doing what may seem a menial task to a neurotypical person, especially when it comes to tips on cleaning & decluttering which, let’s be real, are neurodivergent hell.
Listening to this book was like talking to a friend, honest in telling you what you should be doing to better your life, but supportive enough that you actually want to hear what she has to say next.

The most empowering book ever

As a woman with ADHD, I often struggle to concomitant reading books. However, I was recently invited to check out this book and it completely captivated me! What was different about this particular book was how it presented information excitingly and efficiently for me to comprehend. The author was speaking directly to me and was able to understand my experience. I highly recommend this book to anyone struggling with ADHD, as it has helped me better understand and manage my condition. Thank you to the author for helping me and others!

We learn something new every day!

When the author of this book reached out about an exchange/collaboration—an ebook in exchange for a review, I didn’t expect—actually I don’t know what I expected. I’m not someone that usually enjoys reading/listening anything other than romance, fantasy, and smut I have to say that this (audio)book intrigued me because, well I am someone that was diagnosed with ADHD and I for one do not enjoy being medicated for it.

There was so much information about ADHD that I did not know about and I really enjoyed learning throughout this 📖. I appreciated the author’s humor throughout the chapters because, let’s be honest, my brain would immediately wander off without it. I cannot wait to implement some if not all of the techniques mentioned in this book to help manage my ADHD starting with a change in my diet.

If you are someone who struggles with ADHD I definitely recommend giving this book a try, you might find some way to help you manage your ADHD.

Disclaimer: Although the author gifted the ebook, my thoughts are my own and this is my honest review.

Inspirational

This book is written by someone who gets it because she's been there, and it's packed with real, practical advice that you can actually use. It doesn’t leave you more confused than when you started.
The book covers everything from how to calm your buzzing brain to handling your finances without wanting to pull your hair out. It's all about turning ADHD into your superpower instead of letting it run your life.
I really like that it's full of easy tips and tricks, like how to deal with that dreaded pile of clothes on the floor (the 'floordrobe,' as the author calls it). It even gets into how ADHD affects your relationships, work life, and even your sex life.
This book is a must-read, or, in this case, a must listen if you want to stop feeling like you're just surviving with ADHD and start thriving.

A great, informal how-to guide

This book is more like a how to guide, written in an informal tone, the book compiles a lot of tips and tricks to dealing with ADHD in all areas of life. From finance to cleaning a house, from work life to socializing, it really gives the full landscape for how to succeed with a neurodivergent brain. The book’s focus is women but I can see men also benefiting from the advice in the book.

I really enjoyed how fast paced this nonfiction book was and how thorough. The informal tone caught me off guard because it felt more like listening to a podcast than a book. I think this is the perfect introduction self help book for someone recently diagnosed with ADHD but might get a little repetitive for someone who has already done a ton of research on the topic. The audiobook’s narrator was very engaging, and my preferred format.
