Cozy Southern Charm

This is the third book in this series for me. They have the full package for me in the genre of cozy mysteries. No spoiler from me! But, good character development and plenty of characters to tell a complex mystery story. There is a continuing love interest that provides romance without erotic scenes, thus making this a good choice for those who shy away from graphic sexual encounters.
The narration is done by a woman who has a soft southern drawl, very clearly spoken and, I think, is quite easy to listen to. She speaks so clearly and in a gentle way that would be appealing to me even is she was reading the phone book.
Again I liked it, I was kept interested throughout and thought it resolved nicely, but with danger and excitement. I will continue with this series and definitely recommend Ms. Boyer's work for cozy mystery fans.

Good Book

Susan Boyer has done it again. This new addition of the series was a bit sad but still very entertaining. The plot was complex and so were the characters. I look forward to reading the next book.

All the books in this series are wonderful! I listen to them on my commute and it makes the hour each way go by so much faster! I find myself turning them on every chance I get because I get so involved!

Suspense and romance

Mystery within a mystery in historic Charleston as Liz works through her own relationship issues. My favorite it the series but also a good standalone read.

My favorite of the series, so far.

I love these books. They are light, but not too light. There is action, but not too much action. There is romance, but not too much romance. It's like the perfect balance of everything. Liz is a great heroine.

I had figured this one out, for the most part, before the ending. But I still enjoyed the ride. The characters feel like family and the books have a homey feel that makes me want to buy a home on a SC island!

Love this series!

This has become my favorite low country mystery series. I am on to the next one
