Great sequel
I love Denise’s books and can’t wait to see what develops in this new series. I love that she brought James Malcom back and am curious to see how that comes along as well! Of course you can’t go wrong with Shannon as the actor!

The truthfulness of the story. It was totally believable.
Of all the recent crime novels I’ve read, the story line was the most believable. No gratuitous sex scene or romance, just a good book.

team James forever
always loved James so glad we're getting to see what happened to him. Getting to know Harper was great too, she's got real depth to her character. I'm really excited to see her grow and watch all the relationships change as she does.

Another Success!
Denise Grover Swank delivers another compelling protagonist. I love this new series that gives a nod to the Rose Gardner series with the reemergence of Skeeter Malcolm.

He’s back? You mean SHE’S back!!!
I’m absolutely thrilled with this new series by Denise Grover Swank! It was everything that I needed and wanted! This book will draw you in from page one and you will have devoured it before you know it. Harper is amazing and I’m over the moon that James Malcom and even Carter Hale are back in the game. The only flaw is that now I must wait for book two!
Shannon McManus does a phenomenal job with the characters. She embraced each one and gave them so much depth. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to her work.
