Story
I knocked up my best friend's sister. Let's start with how she decided to inform me and Pacey the news...together. Imagine that nightmare. I was going into what I thought was a hockey marketing meeting, and then bam! I'm going to be a dad and my best friend/teammate is attempting to imprint my face with his fist. Threats were tossed around, friendships were revoked, and then I was marched up to her apartment, suitcases in hand, and forced to live with her so I could take care of her every need. Now I'm finding it harder and harder not to fall for my best friend's little sister.

I’d like to preface this by saying it was never my intention to ever get involved in a workplace romance, let alone get involved with the most surly, agitating, and pompous man I’ve ever met who just so happens to be my new friend’s brother. My intentions were to show students how English and reading books could actually be fun and make a new life for myself in the suburbs of Chicago.

It started with one night out with the boys. She was the hot diner waitress putting herself through school. I was the rich, arrogant player everyone misjudges. On paper, we didn’t match. Yet all it took was one day. One single day to change her mind. She wasn’t planning to spend her day off with me. She wasn’t supposed to fall for my charm. But one day, one smile, turned into several nights of her calling out my name. I’m not the guy she should end up with. I’m jealous, possessive. Not here for a long time - just a good time. She’s changed me.

Am I friends with JP Cane? Ha! That's laughable. Besides the fact that he’s adopted some far-fetched notion from the movie When Harry Met Sally that says men and women can't be friends and work together, it’s safe to say we're not friends. He's annoyingly loud, obnoxiously handsome, and has made an art out of poking all my hot buttons...multiple times a day. So you can imagine how disgruntled I am when I not only have to fly to San Francisco with him for work, but stay in the same penthouse. Yup, we're sharing the same air, 24-7. We're talking full-fledged working roommates.

Oldest story in the book: boy meets girl, boy falls for girl, boy screws up massively, girl tells boy to suffocate in the fruits of his very own unborn children. Heard it before? I'm sure you have. So what's so different about this story? Well, it's about me, The Modern Gentleman, New York City's top advice columnist, and my rather ungraceful downfall from my pristinely polished pedestal. It's about a girl I met who threw all my proven theories to the wind and left me awkward, needy, and absolutely head-over-wing-tipped shoes in love.

This isn’t a story about a love triangle. There is no triangle involved. This isn’t a story about an accidental pregnancy. Although having a baby with her...I would. This isn’t a story about lies and deception, even though at times I’ve lied to myself. No, this is my story. A story about sacrifice. A story about a man who fell in love with the wrong girl. Publisher's Summary
Five hockey players, a cabin in the woods...and little old me, Winnie Berlin.
Sounds like the start of a fantasy, right? But it's not. It's my reality.
It all started when I got lost in the middle of the Canadian Rockies. A wicked thunderstorm sent my car mud sliding into a ditch, and for a girl whose survival skills involve finding the nearest Starbucks, I was in deep trouble.
Forced to abandon my car in search of help, I stumbled upon a cabin in the middle of nowhere. Soaking wet, irritated, and in desperate need of a hot shower, I knocked on the door for help only to be greeted by five boisterous, burly, and insanely attractive men.
Not just men.
Professional hockey players.
I hit the motherload of fantasies, right? Wrong.
Because as it turns out, one of them is my ex-boyfriend's half-brother. And when I end up crashing in their spare bedroom for the night, things take a very unexpected turn.
I'm not sure any amount of survival skills can protect my heart from Vancouver Agitators star goalie, Pacey Lawes. But as long as we kiss and don’t tell, maybe everything will be okay....

A 5 ⭐️ SLOW-BURN WITH LOL HUMOR & SO.. SO MUCH MORE
I think this is Meghan’s best best best book yet and hopefully it’s a great start to what I hope (fingers crossed) is going to continue as a series. It’s light, fun, sweet, witty, endearing, charming, sexy and so.. so much more as lost in life Winnie knocks on the right door when she’s stranded alone in the woods in a thunderstorm. They’re all fine looking men these five Hockey Players.. but there’s only one who draws her eyes more than the others.. one that takes her under his wing.. one that builds a friendship and her confidence after a toxic past relationship.. and that man is swoon-worthy Pacey Lawes. And Pacey feels the instant connection, chemistry and pull for their new house guest too.. however, I love the way Meghan doesn’t rush these two characters. Instead they excitedly explore their connection, talk, play games and lay a great foundation for possibilities.. before the passion ignites. There’s secrets that are predictably going to disrupt and derail.. and again, I loved the pace of the winning back and reunion.. that it was tentative, thoughtful, heartfelt and worked at.
Worth a credit? Oh yes absolutely, it’s a wonderful slow-burn despite their instant chemistry. It’s a well-paced, smooth, tender easy-listen with delicious splashes of hot.. and some needed character growth on both sides. Each and every one of the secondary friends are crucial in, and added to, the sense of friendship, fun and overall enjoyment and they have you liking this story even more. And the dual POV narration by Vanessa and Jason was outstanding as they brought to life all the characters, all the charm, all the passion and the pleasures, all the feels and all the fun in this addictive and very entertaining love story (.. 💕 u J).

Another fun book by Meghan Quinn. This book started off funny with some quirky characters. Each of the guys are 1000% different from each other which I loved because it made their friendships so much funnier. Winnie was a little flakey but in a lost kind of way, I enjoyed that she grew so much throughout this book. Pacey was everything until he wasn't.... I loved his character so much while they were getting to know each other but I couldn't connect his behavior when he got home to the guy in the rest of the book, it was just not him before or after. I'm glad this book had a happy ending and hope there will be more on the friends in this story... except the girl roommate... She was crazy and I can't image her book lol.
The narration was great I enjoy both Jason Clarke & Vanessa Edwin.

Pacey Lawes...SWOON!!!
A woman walks up to a cabin, and there are five hot AF professional hockey players. This isn’t the beginning of a joke, but a real-life fantasy Winnie Berlin wasn’t expecting. When she had car trouble, she walked up to the closest place to hopefully use the phone. What she wasn’t expecting was a group of welcoming—most of them—heavily muscled, very attractive men. Not being a hockey fan, Winnie didn’t know who these guys were. But one of them, Pacey Lawes caught her eye almost immediately.
As for Pacey, he’s obviously drawn to Winnie, but there’s something familiar about her. Turns out, she’s his half-brother’s ex-girlfriend. There’s definitely an attraction between them, but they both need to deal with some of their issues from the past before they can move forward. Due to circumstances, Winnie’s stay with the guys goes from overnight to a few more days. As they spend more time with each other, they’re quickly becoming more than friends in a temporary situation. But when someone from both their pasts makes his presence known, this will be a test to their budding relationship.
Pacey’s teammates are quite protective of him, but they’re really warming up to Winnie. This was a beautifully written story, and I’m looking forward to the other guys’ stories. They’re all adorable, complicated, and so much fun. Lots of humor, on-point dirty talking, and a very swoony hero. Winnie’s best friends are absolutely bananas. I know this is the first book in the series, but Pacey is my favorite, and I’m not sure there’s a chance of any of the other guys knocking him from the #1 spot. But I can’t wait to find out!
Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin did an amazing job narrating this story.

Fun Slow Burn Romance
Kiss and Don't Tell by Meghan Quinn is a standalone sports romantic comedy.
Starting out at a cabin in the Canadian Rockies, Winnie & Pacey's story is a light and fun slow burn romance with lots of hijinks, flirting, some family drama, heartache and a heartwarming ending.
I adore Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin their narration of Kiss And Don't Tell was fantastic, I hope they co-narrate more books together.

What happened to the story?!!
I don’t think I’ve ever read a Meghan Quinn book that wasn’t really enjoyable. When I dove into this book, it had the makings of being some of her best work. Like seriously, I was laughing, swooning, the whole bit. Pacey is literally my dream man from head to toe with an amazing personality and successful hockey career! Clarke and Edwin are a great narration team too!! About 50-60% in, the story started to drag. Then things fell apart (typical)…and I was unimpressed with the way both main characters handled themselves. They had some issues to work through but you’re not going to get anywhere shutting down, blaming the other person and failing to see how you contributed to the problem. Total lack of communication. Running away behavior. I did think it was cute how Pacey’s teammates rallied and helped him decide a plan to get his girl back…and he does (duh!)…but the plan just reminded me of a child trying to sneak up on a baby rabbit or squirrel in the woods to get a closer look without spooking them. In the relationship sense, pretty lame and boring….but necessary because Winnie was emotionally stunted and overall just immature. And then they get back together and it just ends…ok…. 3 underwhelming stars for the story.

Fine but not that fine
I read very good comments, but there are so many wrong things in this book. First him, Pacey, is sweet then he is a controller, jelous *erk! She, Whinnie (?), besides having an aweful name is so needy! There are some parts I liked but the overall story, I didn’t.
Narrators were okey.

basic romance, some humor, sex gets to bdsm
sorry, humor is here, but i do object to bdsm getting thrown into a "good " romance story.
hard spanking is hitting, biting is assaultive and praising the woman for letting the man do anything
he may want is not sexy and or loving it is moving into machismo slave master nonsense. I wish there were
disclaimers on the level of abuse represented in a romance book.

nope
I made it through. It is 3X as long as it should have been, lots of repetition. The first 2/3rds I almost quit several times because the FMC is intolerable: insecure, whiny, weak, needs constant ego boosts. Jason Clarke was undoubtedly the best thing about this. It's hard to believe it was written y Ms Quinn who is one of the very best rom-com authors around.

I need more! Brilliant!
What a fantastic start to this new Sports Romance series from Meghan Quinn. This time we are venturing into the world of Ice Hockey and I couldn't have been more excited to get started. Kiss and Don't Tell had everything I love about Meghan's writing. A loveable, and most importantly relatable heroine and a Hero that is a good guy through and through. One that you just want all for yourself.
Winnie finds herself stranded in a storm on the doorstep of a houseful of pro NHL players during their off season. I loved how the relationship between her and the boys evolved from them not wanting her there at all, to them calling her their girl and making her a part of their family. Pacey as a Hero was everything he needed to be to compliment Winnie and push her to come through the fog she has been living in after the loss of her Mother. The Banter between Pacey, and the other players, Halsey, Taters, Hornsby and Posey was spot on and it didn't take long to be intrigued by each and everyone of them.
There were some little nods to the Brentwood Boys and the Dating by Numbers series too for any fans of other MQ books which was a nice touch I thought. What can I say really, this book felt like a small town romance in many ways with the characters being hidden away in a cabin and the small resort town of Banff being a great backdrop for the story. The book had bags of charm and the secondary characters AKA the other players and Winnie's best friends Kate and Max were shining stars in their own right too.
I have to also commend the Audiobook. Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin were FANTASTIC!! They both embodied Winnie and Pacey to perfection for me, narrating all the nuances, the sass, the feels in all the ways I hoped for. The moment when they try and get Winnie's car out of the ditch had me cracking up with laughter while listening. One I will listen to again and again for sure.

Kisses all the way
Wow what a story . Meghan Quinn pulled all the stops on this story . This story is about 5 best friends that also play hockey for the same team.
Hero is Pacey. Heroine is Winnie
What happened when Winnie gets stranded up the mountain in Banff . She has no choice but to go to the house that the light is on. It’s a mother of a down bore of rain. Once she walks in there are 5 guys. One of the guys can’t put his finger on it …. Where do I know her from. She doesn’t know either. Sparks fly between both of them.
Later Pacey figured out that Winnie is his half brothers ex. Does he tell Winnie. Grab it and see
Both performers Jason Clarke, Vanessa Edwin are perfect together. They brought the story to life. They did the voices for each character great.

Not My Favorite
The romance is pretty good. The miscommunication and withheld secret irritated me as I waited for it to come out. The characters weren't my favourite, the author was going for quirky with the heroine but it was too much and didn't work for me. The dialogue was eye roll worthy.
The narration was good, both Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin gave a good performance.

Listened to the whole book in a day. It was so good I didn't want to stop until I got to the end!
Laugh out loud funny and a fantastic story.
I can't wait to start the follow on book, and I really hope that there will be more to follow in this series.

Pacey and Winnie
How cute are Pacey and Winnie? So much adorable in one book. Winnie really needed help when she came across the house Pacey and friends were staying in. Pacey is drawn to her and the fun begins. So much fun banter and lots of laugh out loud moments.
The thing that kept this from being five stars for me was the big secret that one of them was keeping. It's the kind of thing that needs to be disclosed and discussed early on. Otherwise, it's really pretty cruel to the other person. Seems like lying and it kinda deceitful. All in all, i really enjoyed this book and I recommend.

Fun, flirty and additive - Audio is the way to go
Be still my beating heart. Jason Clarke as Pacey Lawes was utter perfection. I couldn’t imagine a better match. Pacey,’s strength, his humour, his alpha traits, all come out in Jason’s narration, because let’s face it, Pacey is all those things as well as being a pro hockey player (goalie no less), he’s also the perfect book boyfriend. When Winnie Berlin comes a knocking on a his teammate’s cabin during the off-season she gets more than she bargained for. Stranded during a rainstorm, Pacey becomes her knight in shining armour, along with 4 of his hunky teammates, some of whom are less than hospitable. Herein starts a rollercoaster ride of humour, romance, fun and games, and of course a little added drama (it’s still a lie even if it is by omission Pacey). I could not get enough of this story, the characters, the humour, and of course the sexy scenes, so sweet, romantic and very Meghan Quinn. Vanessa Edwin was the perfect Winnie to Jason Clarke’s Pacey.

Loved it
Pacey Lawes is my new book boyfriend!
He's sweet, thoughtful, funny, helpful, kind, and protective.
He listens, he opens doors, he teases, he touches, and he delivers in the bedroom.
Winnie is (as Pacey says) quite extraordinary.
A little shy and timid to start with.
Super funny once she warms up.
Caring, beautiful (inside and out), kind, brave, and absolutely PERFECT for Pacey.
The chemistry and sexual tension in this book were OFF THE CHARTS. The heat between them, the desire that radiated from the pages... it melted me into a puddle of gooey happiness.
There was the typical Meghan Quinn humour injected into the story (which always puts a smile on my face) but add in Max and Katherine (who is just plain hilarious with her crazy) and the chuckles felt like they kept tumbling from my lips.
I also appreciated the inclusion of 'Orson's TikTok' - gah! he makes me smile as soon as I read his name.
Yes, there was drama. It was painful to watch unfold.
You could sense the regret as soon as the words came out.
A boatload of groveling (for which I award Pacey with an A+ for effort), a bit of time, some beautiful gestures, and then all seemed right in the world again.
I can NOT WAIT to learn more about the other Agitators, I know they will provide us all with laughs, fun times, and crazy shenanigans.
Jason and Vanessa did a phenomenal job of narration.
PSA: do not listen to or read this book in places that spontaneous snorts of laughter are inappropriate.

A Sports Romantic Comedy!
Oh! I loved this one! This is a great Sports Romantic Comedy. Winnie and Pacey's story is beautifully written, funny, and flirty, sexy, heartwarming, gripping, and romantic., filled with drama, angst, and twists and turns. I liked Pacey! He is handsome! Winnie is such a great character, funny, and beautiful. I like their banter. The supporting characters are amazing. I like the friendship, and the brotherhood in this story. This is definitely one of my favorite books written by Meghan Quinn. Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin did a wonderful job with the narration. I like their voices together, and they are perfect as Pacey and Winnie. I enjoyed it, and I highly recommend it. If you like Sports Romantic Comedy, this one is definitely for you!

Funny and sweet sports romance
Good plot (Insta connection which they build on) and lots of humour.
I loved the friendship circles around both main characters and the overall sweetness of all their interactions makes it a real feel good read (or listen).
Good narration (dual narration).

Great performances
This was a cute story nothing overwhelming however. The male narrator made it for me. His use of different voices for all the male parts was excellent. The story ending was terrible it literally just ended guessing the author hit her word count or deadline.

Had me hooked from the prologue
Why didn’t I listen to this book sooner?
I finally got around to a listen as I was not disappointed. The book had everything, it was funny, a bit steamy and had good feels. The banter between characters was so entertaining.
Both narrators were brilliant in their delivery. I have heard them both and enjoyed listening to them in other books but I would say this is now my favourite book for both of them. I will definitely listen to this again … and again.

I was hanging with the girls, celebrating my divorce, when I saw him - my crush, sitting in the corner of the bar, all alone. Being single and looking for a wild night, I asked him if he wanted to join me. To my delight, he said yes. On paper, it seemed like I had hit the jackpot. And if I wasn't fresh from a toxic marriage, I would have absolutely noticed the finer things about him. But, I wanted nothing to do with being married, so when I arrived back home from my eventful weekend in Vegas, the last thing I expected to see was a new doting husband already moved in.

Story
As the most hated player in baseball, I had two options: either clean up my image, or pack my bags. Being traded wasn't an option which only meant one thing, I had to become compliant. That's how I found myself sharing a small bistro table with Kate Chapman, the Chicago Bobbies newest PR Manager. Devastatingly beautiful, vastly intelligent, and incredibly cunning, she knows exactly how to handle my grumpy demeanor. It was supposed to be simple. Book some PR events, show up, smile for the camera, and be done. But one massive mistake on my end sends me into the trenches with Kate.

"She went home with someone else that night?" I would like to make it known, I have a lot more swagger than what it seems. I don't normally ask a girl out, have her fail to recognize it's a date, and then give me a high five - as if I'm her wingman - and take off with someone else. No. Normally I'm the one taking the girl home, but with Stella, it's been one failed attempt after another and frankly, I'm done trying. But thanks to my best friend getting married in Hawaii right before the school year starts, I'm stuck on a tropical island.

How do you date your best friend's sister? Easy...At least - that's what I thought was going to happen. But my attempts to win over Julia Westin backfired in more ways than I can count. The thing about Julia? She's smart - really smart - and her wicked gaze cuts through all the charm I've tried slinging her way. She's not interested in games, my gifts, or my stories. She might want me too; but she's not giving in that easy....
