Publisher's Summary

Five hockey players, a cabin in the woods...and little old me, Winnie Berlin.

Sounds like the start of a fantasy, right? But it's not. It's my reality.

It all started when I got lost in the middle of the Canadian Rockies. A wicked thunderstorm sent my car mud sliding into a ditch, and for a girl whose survival skills involve finding the nearest Starbucks, I was in deep trouble.

Forced to abandon my car in search of help, I stumbled upon a cabin in the middle of nowhere. Soaking wet, irritated, and in desperate need of a hot shower, I knocked on the door for help only to be greeted by five boisterous, burly, and insanely attractive men.

Not just men.

Professional hockey players.

I hit the motherload of fantasies, right? Wrong.

Because as it turns out, one of them is my ex-boyfriend's half-brother. And when I end up crashing in their spare bedroom for the night, things take a very unexpected turn.

I'm not sure any amount of survival skills can protect my heart from Vancouver Agitators star goalie, Pacey Lawes. But as long as we kiss and don’t tell, maybe everything will be okay....

Pacey Lawes...SWOON!!!

A woman walks up to a cabin, and there are five hot AF professional hockey players. This isn’t the beginning of a joke, but a real-life fantasy Winnie Berlin wasn’t expecting. When she had car trouble, she walked up to the closest place to hopefully use the phone. What she wasn’t expecting was a group of welcoming—most of them—heavily muscled, very attractive men. Not being a hockey fan, Winnie didn’t know who these guys were. But one of them, Pacey Lawes caught her eye almost immediately.

As for Pacey, he’s obviously drawn to Winnie, but there’s something familiar about her. Turns out, she’s his half-brother’s ex-girlfriend. There’s definitely an attraction between them, but they both need to deal with some of their issues from the past before they can move forward. Due to circumstances, Winnie’s stay with the guys goes from overnight to a few more days. As they spend more time with each other, they’re quickly becoming more than friends in a temporary situation. But when someone from both their pasts makes his presence known, this will be a test to their budding relationship.

Pacey’s teammates are quite protective of him, but they’re really warming up to Winnie. This was a beautifully written story, and I’m looking forward to the other guys’ stories. They’re all adorable, complicated, and so much fun. Lots of humor, on-point dirty talking, and a very swoony hero. Winnie’s best friends are absolutely bananas. I know this is the first book in the series, but Pacey is my favorite, and I’m not sure there’s a chance of any of the other guys knocking him from the #1 spot. But I can’t wait to find out!

Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin did an amazing job narrating this story.

Fun Slow Burn Romance

Kiss and Don't Tell by Meghan Quinn is a standalone sports romantic comedy.

Starting out at a cabin in the Canadian Rockies, Winnie & Pacey's story is a light and fun slow burn romance with lots of hijinks, flirting, some family drama, heartache and a heartwarming ending.

I adore Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin their narration of Kiss And Don't Tell was fantastic, I hope they co-narrate more books together.

Entertaining Listen!

Kiss and Don’t Tell by Meghan Quinn was such an entertaining and fun story and was a fantastic start to a new series. Winnie is on a journey of self discovery when she ends up in a ditch and stumbles upon a cabin in the Canadian Rockies and five professional hockey players. Pacey and his teammates are in between their hockey season vacationing at a cabin when Winnie comes crashing in.

The development of Pacey and Winnie’s relationship was beautifully written. I loved their connection right from the beginning. Their easy friendship, banter and chemistry made them so easy to fall for.

Listening to the audiobook was a delight! Vanessa Edwin and Jason Clarke were fantastic together. Vanessa portrayed Winnie’s quirky and sweet personality traits flawlessly and Jason really brought out all the emotion and humor with his performance of Pacey.

5 She’s Definitely Not in Dawson’s Creek Stars!!!

I’m not sure there are enough words to explain how much I freaking loved this newest book by Meghan Quinn. I should’ve known not to be worried that she was changing “sports” from baseball to hockey because she’s absolutely written a Hat Trick of a book for this first book in a new hockey series!

Imagine stumbling onto a “cabin” filled with 5 professional hockey players, each hotter than the guy next to them, when your car gets stuck in the mud while on an adventure in Banff, Canada? Well, that’s what’s happened to Minnie and god love this girl she is the sweetest and kindest girl possible and is grateful for the opportunity to get in from the rain, but doesn’t want to impose herself with Pacey and his friends, but they
just won’t allow anything but her being in their lives… it was a hard sell though!!

The chemistry between Winnie and Pacey is electric and I loved how he became her knight in shining armor in this book in so many ways. Winnie lacks quite a bit of self confidence thanks to an ex that pretty much annihilated her, which in and of itself is a story, and Pacey and the guys did everything possible to build her back up!

Pacey is a man that’s definitely not looking for romance but he just can’t help himself from falling for this girl. They’re truly perfect for each other and they know how to have fun… and when the other guys around, it’s a smorgasbord of one-liners and hilarity. But we also get doses of reality when it comes to some of the guys, especially Tater and Holmes. The camaraderie between these five men is strong and solid and they are there for each other through thick and thin… from potential career ending injuries to broken hearts to putting the pieces back together again after a tragedy no one should experience.

Ms. Quinn does a phenomenal job of telling a story that is both hilarious and heartfelt. There were moments when I was snort laughing so hard I had to stop reading, but then I would be fanning myself with the heat Winnie and Pacey were generating, because holy moly these two are SIZZLING HOT… and then a few chapters
later, my heart is heavy with emotions I wasn’t expecting.

Winnie and Pacey’s journey to their HEA is not simple or without some pain, but when you’ve met your other half you’ll do anything necessary to make sure they’re with you forever. With this first book alone, I’m publicly stating it’s shaping up to be one of my very favorite hockey series!!

Loved Pacey and Winnie

I’m fast becoming a fan of Meghan Quinn’s books. Her writing is wonderful and her characters are always lovable. Kiss and Don’t Tell was a beautiful, sweet, bit angsty, and funny love story. Winnie and Pacey were just perfect! I loved their chemistry and witty banter! The way their slow burn friendship turns to more quickly kept me captivated til the end. I loved Pacey and how he showered Winnie with love, always making her feel cherished.

It was dual narration by the phenomenal storytellers, Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin. They were perfectly cast as Pacey and Winnie. Jason was charming as Pacey and the rest of the guys. He brought out their personalities flawlessly and made you fall in love with them. Vanessa’s portrayal of Winnie was witty and sweet. She was hilarious as Katherine and Max and did a wonderful job capturing Winnie’s persona. Both these narrators are favorites to listen to and they alway do an incredible job bringing characters to life.

Overall, this book was entertaining and a bit emotional and made me want more of Pacey and Winnie. I hope we get to see more of Katherine, Max and the hockey boys.

Amazing narrators and great cast of characters.

Ok, I have to be honest here. That description had me a little concerned. It was sounding almost like the beginning of a scary movie. I mean, 5 hockey players and a woman in a cabin in the woods? Hmmmm. But, it sounds like a kinky fantasy too, right? Well let's just say that we have a great beginning to a whole new sports romance series by Meghan Quinn and I am here for it!!

Kiss and Don't Tell is the first book in an all new hockey romance series from Meghan Quinn and she made me fall for all 5 hockey players and Winnie, along with her two friends. Plus, I LOVED that the majority of the book was set in Banff, a place that I want to visit and was totally able to envision the city by the descriptive scenery.

The story starts out with the 5 Vancouver Agitators on their off season break at their "cabin" (ahem, mansion) in Banff. We have 5 different players with 5 VERY different personalities and I honestly fell in love with each of them and I can't wait to get each of their stories. But the first story is all about the goalie, Pacey Lawes and a woman that happens to show up at their place during a storm.

Winnie is a girl looking for an adventure and looking to find herself. She got in her car and drove all day to a place she has only heard about from her mother. She may be running from something or she may be on a mission, if she can get her car unstuck first. :)

I absolutely loved these characters and loved the story and journey for them. I was initially taken aback by the blurb, but I should never doubt Ms Quinn. She brought the laughs, the banter, and the amazing chemistry between the friends/team and between the Winnie and Pacey.

While the story was fun, well written and full of fantastic characters, it was the audio that made me fall in love with this story even more so. I was completely enamored with Jason Clarke's performance and the way he captured Pacey and ALL of the male characters. He gave each character a different flavor and it was easy to distinguish between each of them. A performance like that does not go unnoticed. And Vanessa Edwin most definitely brought out all of Winnie's characteristics flawlessly. She captured her quirkiness and her emotional state of being as well as her fun and selfless ways. I feel they gave this story that extra oomph and made me enjoy it that much more.

Overall, this story was great and a fun experience to listen to. It did play out a little long towards the end, but I also liked those scenes and the texting back and forth. It added to the relationship and their growth that needed to happen. I think this is going to be a great series and I can't wait for more! Just tell me we will get some stories during the actual hockey season too!

More then a sports romance

What an unbelievably great story.
Standalone with no cliffhangers.
Winnie is a "helper/fixer" type of person. She always puts her wants and needs second. After losing her mother she needs to find herself.
Pacey is a famous hockey player struggling with an injury that scares him. Plus he has a secret.
Can these two really fall this hard in one week or is it all too good to be true?
The banter in this book is off the charts funny. Friends on both sides made the book so much more.
Loved it!

Loved it!

I just loved Kiss and Don’t Tell by Meghan Quinn. It was the perfect Rom-Com Done in Meghan’s style filled with fun banter, witty conversation, fun times and sexy characters.
Winnie stumbles upon a house after her car breaks down. Turns out it’s a house full of hockey players. From the first scenes, I was laughing and smiling.
Pacey is smitten with Winnie almost immediately. These two have great chemistry. Their friendship and feelings that develop were perfectly written. I just loved their story.
I listened to the audio, and the narrators Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin did such a great job bringing these characters to life.
I listen to my audio books in the car, and I would get disappointed when I would get interrupted.
Loved this new series and can’t wait for more from these characters.

Kiss and Don't Tell

Utterly fell in love with the first half of this book.
The characters are amazing and wonderful, I loved all the guys and them together in any scene is ACES!
And it’s about Hockey players I mean check, check, and check you know.

Winnie is a gem and I truly enjoyed her character and her friends are something else especially the girl roommate.
I like that she might not have had a plan and ok lets be honest that isn't good lol but she stuck to her guns and did what she needed to do. It might not have turned out the way she intended, it turned out better. Adventure starts with intent and that is exactly what she got!

Pacey is totally a heart stopper at the beginning of the book a gentleman a good guy, but something changed. Jealousy came out and instead of talking about it like the beginning of the book made me think he was that kind of guy the green eyed monster came out. For me it didn't fit Pacey I found that to be a little off putting. Of course he came back and was the man I thought he was but I still didn't trust him after that.

But the rest of the book is a hit I loved the rest of the guys and the Chef Stefan I hope we get a book of him too! I loved their friendship and how they look out for each other, a true family of people you choose.
I enjoyed the narration; both narrators will make your ears happy.

Love in unexpected places

Really enjoyed listening to this book. It is so funny and the story is great and well thought out. We begin with 5 hot hockey players in their off season relaxing in a luxury cabin owned by one of the men in the Canadian Rockies. Perfect set up for a sweet somewhat clumsy woman to get stranded and land on their front door. When one of the men thinks he has met her before then it is game on for Winnie and Pacey.

Pacey Laws is the goalie for the Vancouver Agitators and he is dealing with several things in his life but meeting Winnie Berlin in this odd way has relaxed him in a way he has never felt before. He knows they are destined to be together but it is all so fast and he is hiding something from her that could destroy what they have.

Winnie and her mini cooper, Minnie are stuck in the woods and what a way to be stuck. Stumbling into a cabin with five hot hockey players is every woman's dreams, right. Well Winnie's self doubt and scars from her past relationship has her doubting she is good enough for these men, especially Pacey Laws who has captured her attention in a short time. She has a reason for her travels and intends to see it through but she had no idea when she started her trip where it would lead her and she thanks her mom for the luck.

Jason Clark and Vanessa Edwin are so good narrating this wonderful book. I loved listening to both of them. They were Posey and Winnie. They totally engulfed the characters and became them so it was such a pleasure to listen to them. Great job.

This is beyond a 5 star book for me. I loved everything about it and it leaves us lots of great characters for I hope future books. I highly recommend this book.

Sweet Hockey Story

And just like that, Meghan Quinn has created another series! This book was a mix of rom-com, sports (Hockey!) and angst. We were introduced to 5 HOT Hockey players in this story. Pacey Lawes & Winnie Berlin are the main characters in this book. They meet randomly when Winnie's cat breaks down in the Canadian Rockies. Both are flawed with recent traumas. The Steam level in this book is Hot! Jason Clarke & Vanessa Edwin do an amazing job narrating.

Best group texts EVER💕🤣

Omigosh! Y’all I absolutely loved this audiobook Jason & Vanessa are perfection as Winnie & Pacey💕 KADT is sweet, funny, swoony and sexy—hella sexy (the sexting scene🔥).

Winnie is searching for direction in her life when she stumbles into Pacey & the guys. This group of friends!! They are crazy cool, so sweet, give each other sh… and are 100% there for each other—true family. Their text convos are hysterical and the way the help Pacey win ‘their girl’ back is so freaking awesome. 💕 I can absolutely picture them huddled around coming up with their plan😍

Poor paranoid Katherine—I adore her. I may have a friend exactly like her so I find her especially lol funny. And Max…he’s the perfect BFF just wants his bestie to be happy & at peace.

Fave quotes:
‘This is what giddy feels like, this consumption of happiness pulsing through your veins. I’ve met—I’ve kissed—the perfect man. And. He. Kissed. Me. Back.’—I loved this scene. So sweet & captures that falling feeling💕

Hornsby: Did you see the way he looked at her? Dude is f*ing sunk when it comes to this girl. Posey: *whispers* I think he’s falling in love. Taters: ^^Are you insane? It’s way too soon for that. Right? Lawes, are you falling in love? Hornsby: *taps watch* Waiting for an answer. Posey: Would love an update on that status of your heart. Does she hold it in her dainty hands? Holmes: Interested too. Taters: Not you, Holmes. There’s no f*ing way. Lawes: Easily, hands down, the best I’ve ever had. She makes me come so hard I black out every time Don’t ask me again, I don’t share details. And am I falling in love? Yup. Hard not to with this girl. She’s had it tough, yet she’s so real. Kind. She’s genuine and supportive of me, not just me as a hockey player. She listens. Didn’t know anyone like that existed, really. So, yeah. I’m falling hard. Now I need to figure out how to keep her. Hornsby: Called it. Posey: My n!pples got hard reading that. Holmes: Congrats, dude. Taters: Umm . . . this is serious? You’re really falling for her?—-seriosly y’all! How awesome are these guys and their n!pples🤣

Winnie and Pacey!

Winnie is reeling from the curveballs that life has thrown her so she embarks on a road trip but she soon realizes that a more forethought could have prevented her car sliding into a ditch and her knocking on the door of the only house she could find. Fate must have been smiling down on her as it brings Pacey and four of his teammates into her life.

Pacey is the goalie for the Vancouver Agitators who is spending the summer with his teammates in Banff. From the moment that Winnie appears at his door he is drawn to her and doesn’t want her to leave. He convinces her to stay, and they become close but when real life interferes will their time together be a fling or the forever they both deserve?

The interactions between them are humorous and hot but there is just enough angst and drama to make things interesting. Not only are Winnie and Pacey great characters but from what we learned about his teammates it leaves us wanting their stories as well and her best friends are hilarious. The performance of the narrators were exactly what this story needed as they not only had you invested in the characters but brought out the depth of their emotions as well.

Another Winner

I loved this book. Who wouldn't want to be stranded with 5 professional athletes in a storm?

I loved the mix of characteristics and personalities in these friends and team mates. Which one would you want if you could choose? I'm kinda on the fence.

This was an 'opportunistic' story that worked out amazingly well for the main characters.

If you want a good laugh and to swoon (more than once) then Kiss and Don't Tell is for you. Meghan Quinn, once again writes the stories we only wish were real life!

A must read for sure!

Fantastic listen!

Meghan Quinn always comes to me just when I need a good romantic comedy! I am guaranteed a swoony hero and a smile on my face all the way through, and this one brings both! Pacey and his teammates are spending their off time at a cabin in Canada. Winnie is looking to get past a bad relationship and is off on a self discovery and healing mission when her car gets stuck in the mud. Five hockey players to the rescue! But Pacey finds something that pulls him to Winnie. She is familiar and he can't quite put his finger on why until he does. And by that time, they are in way too deep with each other. Should he come clean with her? What will happen when Winnie's ex comes back? And how will Winnie take Pacey's news? I love Winnie's trusting spirit. She is all in and I love her how her heart is on her sleeve. Pacey is a tough one. I love his romantic side, but I wasn't a fan of his deception. He definitely is swoony and loved how proved his worth. The teammates are quirky, each their own personality and I would love to get to know them better too! It was a fun listen for my weekend.

Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin enhanced this story with their amazing story telling. Each is on my favorites list and they truly know how to connect to the character making it easy for us to relate to. Their voices compliment each other and they bring the story to life.

Pained me to put it down

I started listening to this on audio at the gym and when I tell you it physically pained me to put it down to do anything else I'm not entirely overreacting. From the banter, the near instant friendship, how Pacey takes his time with Winnie, even after their separation. Almost every side character instantly stole my heart and I wouldn't mind if we got a few more stories from this little cluster. Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin were incredible on narration duty and they really added to the personality and the banter for sure. The narration got an extra half star just on it's own. This will for sure be added to my re-read rotation. I volunteered to listen and read an advance copy of this. All opinions are my own.

A Gripping & Fabulously Delightful Story & Listen🎧

I loved everything about this book, from Meghan Quinn’s wonderful writing style to the fabulous characters and storylines to the perfectly cast narration that brought it all to life from the pages to my ears. Meghan Quinn is a gifted author, she masters sports romance, and it truly shows in this book where five members of the Vancouver Agitators spend their first month post season winding down in a secluded mountain side cabin in the woods. She captures the camaraderie amongst the team members, as well as each of their quirks & personalities. Their cabin stay starts off with terrible weather and they are afraid that their hired chef who is bringing up all their food will not make it to there. It is a hilarious scene when they realize this, the witty dialogue and back-and-forth bickering is too funny, it is a relief when their doorbell rings the chef finally arrives, except it was not him, it was a girl with car problems looking for a working phone. She was not expecting to be greeted my five gorgeous men, it was a mixed reception, some were curious, one was not trusting her appearance, one was even a little rude. But when she mentioned he had a knapsack filled with snacks, the majority win and they let her in. Winnie Berlin has not had the best year, her Mom lost her battle with cancer, she lost her store and her boyfriend dumped her; she set out with a plan, determined to do right for her Mom and then get her life back on track. But traveling mountain roads was not the smartest thing to do in a mini cooper. Luckily, she found an occupied cabin, and they were going to let her stay until the storm was over and the roads were clear enough to get her car out of the ditch. Pacey Lawes thought Winnie looked familiar but he could not place from where regardless, it did not stop the instant attraction he felt towards her. The two clicked, and they spend some time together getting to know each other. The connection they made and the chemistry between them were real, despite her reluctance. But it all goes south for Pacey, he has a health scare, one that may end his career, then he screws up with Winnie by withholding information and it may not be something she can get past. Winnie stayed in a relationship for all the wrong reasons and she does not want to go down that path again, though deep in her heart she knows Pacey is not her ex. This fabulously delightful story is beautifully plotted with the perfect balance of drama, romance, humor, heartfelt emotions and steamy hot romance. Meghan Quinn, thank you for another entertaining and enjoyable novel, I loved every minute of it.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Jason Clarke and Vanessa Edwin are talented narrators and voice artists. They have a complete understanding of the characters they portray, giving each a voice that fits that character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable and just as I picture the character to sound. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the characters’ emotions and projects them into their performance. They set the perfect tone for the story, handle the witty dialogue with ease and land the humor effortlessly, never missing a beat. Thank you for another wonderfully entertaining listen, it is always a pleasure to listen to your work.
