Halloween Unicorns

A cute story for the young (and young at heart).

Jesise feels like she is invisible in her large family. When the family goes to the local Corn Maze, Jessie goes off on her own and the adventure begins!

A Unicorn named Gus comes along when Jessie gets lost and shows her a truly magical time. Unicorns, Halloween, magical bears.....a great short read for all ages.

The narrator did a good job, but there was quiet a bit of background noise, which was a little distracting.

Loved it 🎃 🍂

I love this book's richly descriptive fall scenery. It really puts you in the mood for Halloween. The author who also narrates this book, did a really good job. At times the audio recording had some static, but it wasn't so bad that it's distracting. I highly recommend this book for kids who love the fun of fall, even the big kids like me.😉

A magical Halloween story with a unicorn

This story is a magical Halloween tale that kids will enjoy, and the length is perfect for their short attention spans. Listening to this book reminded me of sitting in the library listening to story time with my kids. The reader (and author) of the audio book has a pleasant storytelling voice. Instead of changing voices for the different characters, she names off the character who is speaking. While I personally found that a little distracting, it might make it easier for young children who have a hard time keeping track of who is who. I love the cover!

Cute fantasy

This is a cute children's fantasy story which follows the traditional formula of: kid feels unappreciated, kid is separated from family where they meet fantasy creatures inaccessible to adults, kid has adventure, kid is returned to worried family who tries to convince them that the fantasy wasn't real. Pretty routine for adults who've seen a thousand iterations of this formula, but it works for kids. The formula is so often repeated for good reason; it resonates with kids.
