Michael Buckley

I'm the New York Times bestselling author of the middle grade series The Sisters Grimm as well as the NERDS series, both published by Abrams Books for Young Readers. I also wrote Kel Gilligan's Daredevil Stunt Show, illustrated by Dan Santat and co-wrote Lenny the Lobster Can't Stay For Dinner with my son, Finn. My YA trilogy Undertow was published by Houghton Mifflin Harcort. My latest middle grade series is Finn and the Intergalactic Lunchbox published by Delacorte and releases April 28! Before writing for young people, I worked in television development for networks like Discovery, TLC, MTV, and Nickelodeon. I also co-created the Cartoon Network animated series Robotomy. Back in the day I was a comic, a pasta maker, and a singer in a punk rock band. You can learn more about me at www.michaelbuckleywrites.com or visit me on Instagram @buckleystopshere
