Action packed

I absolutely loved this book. The men sure have protection issues. Which are wonderful, I’m glad Jenny came into her own and didn’t let Heath walk all over her. There is lots of passion and love. It was great. I want to read Jeanelle and Arron’s story next.

Heath and Jenny

My first Audible book, I must it turned out to be better than I thought. The narrator did an awesome job. I love the book itself. Heath seems to always be at the right place at the right time to rescue Jenny. I also like how the Jackson family stick together and help each other out.

Definitely a must read!!!

This is the first book I have listened to by Maddie Taylor. Wow, she is a fantastic story teller, and her characters are so realistic. I fell in love with Heath, Jenny, her brother, and the rest of the Jacksons immediately. Jenny has hit rock bottom but she never gives up. Although Heath never planned on marrying the mutual attraction between them is electrifying. There are also spankings involved. The sex scenes are very hot, but most of all there is so much love in them. They have to undergo several major obstacles which can only bind them closer together or tear them apart. I would give this book ten stars if I could.

The narrator, Gideon Welles, has a voice that I could listen to all day. He makes listening to him read a sexy, exciting and pleasurable experience.

Whether or not you like western books, this is a book you will really enjoy.

This series just gets more fun

Once again Maddie Taylor has transported the reader to the old frontier and created a story that is humorous, sensual, suspenseful and full of old-fashioned love. I received this audio book in exchange for a review. The lightheartedness of this novel that underlies everything else going on makes this a really refreshing and easy listen. Gideon Welles does such a great job of making the characters believable and distinguishable from each other. It is so engaging that the 14+ hours just escaped me. I listened to this book over the course of several days but it was easy to listen for hours at a stretch. Maddie tells an excellent tale and I am looking forward to the third book in the series.

Loved This Story

I love Maddie Taylor's writing and this book just lends itself perfectly to narration. The narrators voice is fantastic and perfect for a story about a sexy dominant alpha like Heath. I also listened to the first book in this series and I could not wait to get my hands on this one it definitely did not disappoint. Heath never intended to marry after a girl in the past left him for another wealthier man but though he has wanted Jenny for years he refuses to entertain the thought of the younger women until she has to marry. Not knowing how he can ever see her with another man Heath gives in and makes her his. Although Heath is never afraid to hand out a little domestic discipline it is done with his love for Jenny at heart. You can listen to this as a standalone but having heard Marshall's Law I believe these are so much better in order. I cannot wait until the next book in this series comes out in narration form this series is fantastic.

Heath & Jenny's story is full of loss, deceit, love, laughter and steam. A page turner that will have you flipping pages. It will also have you laughing out loud and anticipating Luke's book. Another must read by Maddie Taylor!

The story is excellent. It is the second book in the series. Can't wait for the last book in this series. The narrator was very good and his voice fit with the story

LOVED IT!

I absolutely loved this story! The narration was great. It will keep you entertained. This author did a great job with the character builds and plot. I love this author's style of writing. This was not my first book by this author, I previously read the first book of this series (Marshal's Law) and enjoyed it as well. I can't wait to read more of her books! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I'm Loving the Jackson Men

A little high handed or heavy handed, the Jackson men know just what is needed to teach the rules to their women. For Heath and Jenni, unrequited love until her future is thrust into reality. Heath steps up but life doesn't get easier but it does get sweeter. Love the narrator and story definitely pulls you in. Wish book 3 was in audio but I'll make due with imagining the deep voice.

This was one heck of an story!

I had been looking for a western that was not the same old same old. Gideon Welles really embodies these characters! He did sooo great. I’m really impressed. I hadn’t planned to read book 2 when I found out the time travel was not in it. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this on audible. I’m a long time audible user. The story was action filled, sweet and hot!! Heath has been added to my book boyfriend list. Shoot all the brothers and their Dad! LOL! The family is so awesome I wish I knew them. I now plan to read book 3.
