Emotional and Sexual Enemies to Lovers

Thank you, Laxmi, for writing a book that I wanted to know the ending but I didn't want it to end! This book will have several twists that will add so much to the development of these characters. Sin is a ruthless businessman with seemingly little to no redeeming characteristics, but gradually I came to love him. Summer is a loving sister who will do whatever's necessary to save her sister. Summer is sassy and challenges Sin. I love this and Laxmi also lets us hear their inner thoughts which are emotional, funny, and enlightening. There are several passionate and explosive sex and love scenes. Be still my heart!

The narrators are excellent and enhanced this story even more. They are talented storytellers that make the listener experience the emotions of these characters. Faye Adele excellently portrays Summer's spunk, caring nature, fighting spirit, and passion. Shane gives Sin a deep swooning voice and a sexy accent.

I highly recommend this Audible book. I know that a few reviewers hated that Sin cheated on Summer but they were not in a relationship at the time. He did it to emphasize that the relationship they would have was a fake one for business of some sort. But even he regretted doing this to her when he realized how it affected her.

That's a spicy meatball

First off, Shane east can read the phone book and make people swoon, add to that the extra spiciness of L. Steele's words and let's just say muy Caliente.
Slight trigger warning, about consent and somewhat consensual nonconsent, but once you're aware of that this enemies to lovers is a fantastic listen.

Alpha-hole Lovers Dream

"The Billionaire's Fake Wife" by L Steele, narrated by Shane East and Faye Adele, presents an intense Alpha-hole trope with blackmail. Shane East's narration, accompanied by his British dry style, adds to the straightforwardness of the story. Initially, I found it challenging to immerse myself in the book. Still, the discovery of the bond of the Seven piqued my interest, leaving me curious to explore further into the series.

Shane East's portrayal of the male lead was exceptional, effectively capturing the character's complexities without any unnecessary emotions. His delivery of the lines remained straightforward and devoid of charm or humor, which suited the narrative's tone. Faye Adele's performance as the female lead complemented the story well, maintaining a dry and matter-of-fact tone throughout.

The revelation of the bond of the Seven brought an intriguing aspect to the story, hinting at deeper connections between the characters. Despite a slow start, the plot gained momentum as secrets were disclosed, offering a captivating world of romance, mystery, and passion with a dry and pragmatic approach. In conclusion, "The Billionaire's Fake Wife" sets a promising foundation for the series, where readers can expect more intrigue and complexity in the forthcoming books.

Really enjoyed this one! Her writing is just super easy to follow and get into the story. If you love billionaire and fake marriage tropes then I highly suggest you give this own a go! The audio is done super well… of course I mean Shane East HELLO! They really make you feel connected to the characters.

Great story starting halfway through- but “huh?

I never write reviews- (I should because I listen to audible books literally non-stop other than while I’m at work - unless I’m on my break) but I was reading through others’ reviews and was looking for one particular thing.. the only thing that drove me absolutely crazy was the over-use of “huh?” Omg I swear it got to a point I rolled my eyes every time and my family thought I was perpetually annoyed with them lol! I started and stopped listening to this book having trouble getting through the beginning. Shane East is one of my all time favorite narrators!! The story had me hooked (finally) once I got about half way through. Now I’m on to the next one!

I loved it. The characters and the other stories . I recently became a huge fan of Faye and Shane. will look for more under their voices. I love the story from the beginning to the end. The female character wasn't whiney, and the male was....hot! I generally start to lose interest in the story in the last 30 minutes or so once the characters realize they were deep in love and get extra mushy but I'm glad I stuck with it! got a lovely an exciting surprise at the end. I wasn't planning on listening to the entire series if I'm being honest, but I'm definitely changed my mind now on to the story. I can't wait to see what happens between Saint and Victoria

Love enemies to lovers

I loved Sin's and Summer's story. it was entertaining and there were so many twists and secrets in it. You knew once they met that they were going to fail in love. hate is just the opposite of love in these stories and this one didn't disappoint.

Sizzling enemies to lovers romance!

What an intriguing set up to the new Big Bad Billionaires series. This enemies to lovers story is an emotional and sizzling story about finding true love in the most unlikely place and circumstance. Sinclair and Summer's first meeting ends with Sinclair offering Summer a job. Summer didn't like him at first but was desperate after just losing her job and needing one to help take care of her ill sister. Sinclair is the ultimate alphahole who needs control over everything. But Summer is one of the only people who challenges him and doesn't cower to his brash behavior. This intrigues Sinclair, and he loves to goad her. Sinclair has ulterior motives to have Summer at his mercy. He, along with his friends and business partners have a tragic background that binds them together, but only Sinclair's experience is revealed slowly. Because of that, they have plans that involve Summers unknowing help. But the more time Sinclair and Summer spend together, the more their feelings grow for each other. Soon, Sinclair changes those plans to have more of Summer. But what happens when secrets are revealed and Summer learns the truth? I really liked Summer and how determined she was to get what she wanted. It took awhile to warm up to Sinclair, but he won me over eventually.
Shane East and Faye Adele did a terrific job capturing each characters personality, and bringing this story to life. East expressed Sinclair's deliciously dominance along with his reluctant caring side perfectly. Adele easily captured Summer's strength and vulnerabilities. They both duplicated Sinclair and Summer's fiery banter, movie trivia challenges, and their explosive chemistry, beautifully.
I am so intrigued by this new series and these Big Bad Billionaires, and I want to know more about them.
