Publisher's summary

Hadrian made a promise to the new creator of Eden: find the scattered incubi and bring them home. But his intentions weren’t completely pure. Two thousand years ago, he lost his own incubus when he made the biggest mistake of his life. Now that he’s free from his involuntary service and seen the restored Garden of Eden, he’s convinced his incubus could be alive. He’ll do anything to find Pheo again.

Pheo hates what he had become. He hates what he had to do to survive. Most of all, he hates Hadrian for leaving him so long ago. If he ever saw him again, Pheo promised himself he’d make his ex-lover regret it. But he wasn’t prepared for the way he felt when they finally came face-to-face once again.

Hadrian wants Pheo’s forgiveness, his love, and to share eternity together. While he hates to admit it, Pheo wants Hadrian back too. The problem is, even though Pheo has never stopped loving Hadrian, he doesn’t trust him anymore.

Can Hadrian prove he’s worthy of Pheo’s love, or is their relationship already lost?

A Great Continuation of the Series

This was a great continuation of the Gravidam series. I really enjoyed the world that Brightly created in book 1 so it was nice to get back to it in Incubus Lost. A unique mpreg can be hard to find when the genre is full of similar plots, but Brightly brings a different spin to the genre.

I enjoyed Ethan Holdan's narration and look forward to hearing more from him.

Fans of mpreg and fantasy will enjoy this series and its lovable characters.

poot pheo

Hadrian had a lot to make up for to Pheo. I empathized with Pheo and his trust issues after what he suffered. Fantastic world building and storyline. Great ending. The narrator did a great job. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review.

Incubus Lost

This is a wonderful second book in this series about the angels and the incubus. It is the story of Hadrian and Pheo. Two lovers torn apart by war and destruction but when they are finally reunited is love enough to heal old wounds or is it too late to find the peace that they once shared?

Love and emotions are strong in this story. Hadrian and Pheo go through so much as they struggle to find their place in the world. The two make a good pair and work well together. It seems that it is when they are apart that their troubles arise, now if they could only find a way to stay together. It was nice to see the two fight so hard to find what they had so long ago. Their love is so strong that they are willing to hurt themselves to prove that love to each other. Pheo must learn to understand and open his heart again while Hadrian must make some hard choices when it comes to his heart. Trust is hard earned, and hope is slowly restored as these two learn to love again. Not only do we get the main characters story, but we also get to see a lot from the supporting characters and I hope that we get to see more from this world in the future.

Great Story!!

This is a great addition to this series. This is a follow up from the first book. Hadrian had promised to bring home all the incubi. This is just a great story from the beginning to the end. Now the narration was great. Ethan Holden does a great job into being these characters to life.

amazing!

Incubus Lost by Ki Brightly is the second book in the Gravidam series. Hadrian promised to bring home all the incubi. Hoping he would find his incubus, the one he lost when he made the mistake of leaving him alone. When he reunites with Pheo, he has to prove to the incubus that he will not leave again. But is that enough? And what about the promise Hsdrisn made to the new creater to locate all the missing incubi?

I wonderful story that captivated me from the start. The world created by Ki Brightly is full of imagery and intriguing story. The characters are funny, strong in their own ways and made me care about them I like the series so far and can not wait for the next book.

The narrator does an amazing job bringing the story to life, with a voice that is easy to listen to and adds to the experience.

I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.

Great second book

This second installment of the Gravidum series picks up just following the events of Incubus Adored. A promise was made at the end of book one to find the missing incubi, so Hadrian and Lucifer set out to find them; starting with Hadrian's long lost love, Pheo.

What they find is a bitter man who doesn't trust or want to go home. Trust must be earned, and a new relationship with Eden rebuilt. Both of these are hard won, with pain and loss along the way.

In the end, we get our HEA, and a setup for the next book.

The narrator did a good job. A couple of hang-ups I have bothered me throughout the book, however. I really dislike hearing a narrator swallow when they are reading. This is easy to edit out. Second, there are a couple of common words mispronounced. He does a really good job, but the swallowing thing knocked him down from a 4.5 to a 4.

Happy listening!

A really good continuation

After meeting Hadrian in the first book, I was really hoping he would get his happily ever after. He was such a good friend to Peirs but definitely had a past. In this book, He does what he can to find his lost love and trying to prove himself to Pheo, including putting his life in danger. Pheo has little patience for his angel and his excuses. He's a really strong person that doesn't seem to need any help.

I wish Pheo was a bit more understanding as Hadrian really seemed to regret his past. I'm surprised by the level of devotion Hadrian had toward Lucifer, especially after losing Pheo the first time and finding out about the lost baby.

I'm thrilled they were able to work things out and hope to see them help Lucifer get his happy ending.
