this is phenomenal

I absolutely love it every moment was hanging on by a heartstring beautiful story thank you

Good if you like a quick guilty pleasure read

But not quite what I was looking for, although I should've realized as much. The book is exactly what it's trying to be: romance and lust between two characters destined to be enemies in a slowly approaching doom setting, with a narrator fully into it. And if that's all you need, this book is probably for you!

Personally though, I felt there wasn't enough to the story. The worldbuilding left unanswered questions, which weren't necessarily important to the thin plot but confused me nonetheless. The characters' decisions and motives didn't always make much sense, or at least lacked in explanation. The narrator often got a bit too theatrical to my liking. But take this with a grain of salt if you will, as this review is coming from someone who enjoys her relationships much much more platonic.

Droning Voice

This story was alright, not great, not terrible, but not something I would want to read again. The voice acting was pretty bad though, his droning voice and unenthusiastic exclamations made this a difficult read. Chugging along, A.

The trail off on every sentence drive me insane

I had to switch to kindle and physically read this book, the narration was absolutely killing me. Male equivalent of intense vocal fry

Loved it!

Mystery, passion, love...revenge! I enjoyed the characters and the wat the narrator brought them to life. Ugh, super sexy book with a good story ❤️

The articulation, the intensity, and snark! This book had me on the edge of my seat all the way through. Dark and thrilling!

A good read!

I enjoyed this book quite a lot. I liked the two MMCs, I found them likeable and relatable. This story is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast (my favorite) and it went over pretty well.

I do have to say some parts felt a bit rushed, maybe not rushed but not as well thought through or seemed to skip through time or parts to the point I thought I had missed something. This would then take me a moment to get back on track from where I had been to where I am now. This however really is my only complaint and it is very minor.

I recommend this book. It is a very fun read and enjoyable ending.

Gay vamps are always dope, but this audiobook isn’t

I enjoyed the story pretty well, but this narrator was awful in my opinion. He had such a weird cadence and the way he chose to voice Marius was super off putting. I think the book is worth a read, but I don’t think I can recommend this audiobook.

I can't explain it

I loved it. everything about it was so.wthing I have been craving in a book. it was more than just smutt. it was love. AND THE TWIST!!!!
