Who was your favorite character and why?

Could not get over the terrible accents perpetrated on my ears by this narrator. These are beloved characters that I like to revisit with again and again, but I had to stop listening and walk away. She just made get angry and I could not get into the story or enjoy the audiobook.

Would you be willing to try another one of Traci Odom’s performances?

No.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes. It made me angry. I buy Shelly’s books because they make me laugh. The performance was so bad that i could not enjoy the audiobooks.

Please get Charlotte Kane back or someone better, just don’t go from a 10 to a 1. Not fair to those of us listening.

WHO told her she should narrate for a living?

The book is, as always, amazing. Great story, love the characters and story but the narrator, UGH! Has Bo EVER had a Russian accent or has Rick sounded like he was raised on the docks? I mean seriously lady the least you could was familiarize yourself with the characters before you butcher them and serve them for dinner. This should be illegal, I will listen to these books over and over again on my drive to and from work because I enjoy the stories so much, but this one may be too much self abuse. Please bring back the original narrator, it would be the kindest thing you could do for the listeners and the characters.

Killing me softly

Loved the story because it's a continuance from the Pride series but the narrator was killing me. The need to bring back Charlotte Kane who can do all of the different voices. Not to be mean but this Traci Odom sounded like a middle school child trying to do different voices. Sorry to say but it was killing me and had a hard time trying to finish listening to it.

MacKilligans are crazy like the Smiths! Yes

The honey badgers are crazy but the hybrid honey badger sisters, Max, Stevie and Charlie have had a hard life and must rely on themselves to stay alive. Berg is a grizzly who takes one look at Charlie and wants to be a helpful as he can. While the sisters duck their father and a myriad of frenemies, Charlie finds a man she can trust in Berg and a normal family situation she longed for.

Read the books before doing an audiobook

I was so excited to see the shifter world come back, and because I do not want to wait I downloaded the audiobook so I can listen as I work. So to my annoyance, as I listen to an awesome storyline and heard of the progressive movement of past shifters lives, Bold Bo Novickov was given a Russian accent. He was raised in Maine. And Vic Barinov, raised in Russia, has an American accent. Oh and why do all the bears speak so slow? Great story, horrible audiobook.

Another Funny, INCLUSIVE addition 2 series. BRAVO!

Action, snarky dialogue,mystery and extremely INCLUSIVE cast of characters. Three sisters. From one con artist crappy HONEY BADGER father. A Black (biracial) older sister(badger/wolf) with bad eyesight & allergies, one Asian (bi racial) middle sociopath sister(badger/badger) and the youngest sister(badger/tiger) Anglo mentally unstable genius. Dealing with the after effect of their father's cons & scams.. Despite the danger, love, family & community is found. BRAVO, BRAVO.. It was wonderful to read about a list of characters that look different with different background but, find common grounds for friendships love & laughter.. This would be OVER the top perfect if, one of the female character was older (middle aged) and would find LOVE also... Maybe future stories in the series??? Definite worth the money or credit. Shelly Laurenston/A.G. Akin is an excellent & talented artist & writer.. I am a LOYAL fan... more please...

Damn good book. Specially if you don't like too much sex. There is action and a lot of comedy. Love it.

good book, i loved the humor

Great book like all of hers. I like most preferred the original narrator, but traci did a good job. In all honesty she has more of a range of voices, I was just used to charlotte. In short while I prefer the old I think the new got more hate than she deserved.
