Publisher's Summary

On this stunning audio edition of the national PBS special with Caroline Myss, this acclaimed authority on the energetics of healing dares to take listeners to a hidden realm of the human body, beyond Western myths about healing - yielding a hope-giving program for health unlike any other.

For over 15 years, Caroline Myss has worked face-to-face with the real experts on this controversial subject: thousands of people challenged by illnesses who failed to respond to conventional treatment. As a medical intuitive, Myss saw beyond their physical complaints - and identified the greatest block to healing in our culture today. She shows that when we stop using illness as a way to gain power and intimacy with others, we stop wasting our sacred energy. It then becomes available, not only for self-healing, but for spiritual fulfillment.

Here is a bold new vision of healing, presented by Caroline Myss in her own words, that will electrify you with its unlimited possibilities for improved health and spiritual connection. Includes an exclusive interview with Caroline Myss.

Good Listening - Repetition from previous work.

Would you consider the audio edition of Why People Don’t Heal and How They Can to be better than the print version?

Yes

Any additional comments?

The majority of this book is actually an interview with Caroline Myss. Some material is repeated from her other recordings. Although this has a recent publication date she makes reference to the approaching millennium and mentions people who have long since died so I doubt this interview is recent. Her other books are lectures. I wish she would actually narrate her books and then market these additional works as presentations and interviews but I still get a lot from he work.

Everybody need to "read" this.

Loved it, wish it had lasted longer. We all need to hear CM's understanding of how forgiveness can heal.

Another great healing production

The voices of Caroline Myss & Tami Simon both are soothing, healing and make me feel like I'm sitting with old friends. No, I've never met either one . That said, I absorb something new, am reminded of something to embed that sounds true and in the end am enriched by this audiotape. The first chapter (as I recall) is Caroline Myss speaking. However, the second and final chapters are Tami Simon interviewing her. Ms. Simon asks poignant questions, delves deeper into things and these two sweetly intelligent beings are well matched. The questions are hard ones but the great Ms. Myss doesn't miss a beat . For me it was great match made in heaven . Thank you.

Great book with good dialog afterwards

I have read the paper back version of this book and now the audio program. Here the author goes through breaking down all the reasons why out society needs to change. I was taught to deal with my wounds before I can have my strengths. The author asks why? Why aren't we teaching people to embrace our pasts then our strengths? Why aren't we taught about the power of forgiveness? The author needs to begin public speaking again to teach these lessons and the Entering peoples Castles.
