Essential Guide fo Healers

Earlier in my life I read a number of aCarolyn Myss books and learned much. Now as I seem to have more time to listen than read this has been a wonderful reintroduction to Carolyn Myss and her numerous topics, all of which are new to me. The audio was great, her subject well presented and objective.
Thank you for the opportunity to reacquaint myself with an “old friend’s passion”.

Some of her points resonant strongly with me, others not so much. Personal POV differences.

A Must for Myss Fans

I almost passed up this gem due to the poor review listed here but as a person who has benefited greatly by Myss's program Sacred Contracts, I found this offering very worthwhile. If you are familiar with the concepts that support archetypal patterns in our lives and if you are even remotely interested in the healing arts, you will enjoy Myss's unique insight into the challenges faced by anyone who practices these arts. I especially appreciated her comments on burnout which I've identified as an ongoing issue for so many of us.

The author knows the healers path intimately. No holds barred in this helpful guide.

She is straight forward and tells it how it is! She is wise, caring and generous with her knowledge!

Interesting perspective on “healers”

I put “healers” in quotes because when she talks about healers, there is a bad taste that’s in her mouth with that term. I agree with about 80% of what’s in this audio, and her insight is always a blessing. The one thing I will strongly disagree on is hands on healing experiences.. there are indeed tangible things happening during an energy exchange, having physical experiences. I have been a healer in a cave apparently.. because she talks a lot about prideful healers and wounded healers.. these things I was unaware of. After 20 years, I have finally found that I need to step out of the shadows to be able to fully share the world of energy to as many people as possible, because something is telling me of it’s importance. I am human, I am not perfect and it’s weird as I feel like after listening to this audio I need to defend myself as a healer, lol. But overall, you should listen, but also try not to take offense and stand in your truth.

A MUST for the Energy Healer

This was required reading/listening for a shamanic class I took and I am sooo glad I "read" it. Caroline Myss, in her inimitable style, lays it out for the energy healers of today. Sound advice, cautions and the occasional yank of the chain are dispensed. I found it VERY enlightening (no pun intended) and plan to get all of her books.
