Loved it, though as always the truth is hard to hear.. Memorable moment? One, is the concept that when we're afraid, we're on the right track. Keep going. God's hand will hold us until we can see clearly, Trust Him. Excellent book

Myss on the power of prayer in today's world

Myss traverses the subject of prayer with passion and purpose. She highlights that it is a sacred practice that can affect change personally and collectively. She does not shy away from explaining how we seem to have rejected prayer because of religious associations, basically throwing the baby out with the bathwater. In addition, she also talks about how many often misuse or misunderstand prayer, using it in a superficial sense to ask for more 'stuff'. Myss, in her signature style, puts the ego in its place and demands the upmost respect for the sacredness of prayer development. There are a few suggestions regarding how to pray here and there but I actually like that Myss didn't go into much detail with the hows. Prayer is a personal journey after all and Myss seems to acknowledge this by advising rather than instructing.

This book spoke to me like Caroline wrote every word just for me at this time in me life. I have walked away with a deeper, profound insight which I had been searching for. I love how God works, this was totally a Devine humbling intervention in my life. A Must read for everyone on the internal path of truth, this time round. now eveything fits into place.... devotion to prayer and its truth is my friend. thank you Caroline.

Informative, entertaining, and inspirational.

I found this book very useful in becoming aware of what it means to be in prayer. What it is and what it isn't. It brought out lots of emotions. Especially laughter. The way this author describes our ego personalities and humanness had me burst out with laughter in the 1st chapter, it must have woke my spirit. This author also shares of how this gets in the way and what we can do about. Insightful instruction on prayer devotion has become life changing for me. Wash, rinse, repeat.
