Publisher's Summary

Greta Gar~Bitch is the true story of a young girl growing up in a family with extreme dysfunction. Enduring daily physical and emotional abuse that was fueled by alcohol, sex, and drugs. The severity of abuse caused two of the four youngest children to commit suicide as their only way out six months apart from the other. In another six months, the mother committed suicide by ingesting a gallon of vodka a day, with a variety of prescription meds. When the mother’s body could no longer keep up with this cycle of drinking and drugging, her death left this family in their darkest hours. At the tender age of seven, Kimber Leigh listened to the stories told to her by her grandfather, about the famed Hollywood actress from the 1930s, Greta Garbo. Kimber’s grandfather said, “You are going to be just like her when you grow up". When Kimber shared his words with her mother, her mother’s reply was, “Sweetheart, you will never be anything but a Bitch...a Greta GarBitch!”

Kimber’s life was left in turmoil after years of suffering physical, sexual, and emotional abuse at the hands of her mother and others. This audiobook reveals what turned Kimber’s life around, so she was able to lead a life of miracles, peace, love, and forgiveness. These experiences taught Kimber how to understand the real "game of life" leading her to find true love, all the while witnessing endless miracles along her life’s long journey. Great Gar~Bitch will explain how you can live a miraculous life. People will witness your growth and say, wow!

Heaps of heartache with endless lessons of hope

Once you get past the publishers information And acknowledgments being read out-loud, you are presented with a book that is simultaneously raw, rough-around-the-edges, but refreshingly genuine and lacking any pretense.

It was liking having a friend along with me in the car, on my commute, and having them tell you things that are so personal and heartbreaking that you can’t imagine surviving the same, but then being told it will be ok ...and believing, in fact, that it will be ok.

I know that pain and suffering exists everywhere and that it is relative and I know that there are people that have it worse; starving people and war-torn countries, etc., but there’s a special connection to hearing a person that could be your neighbor or family member express the pain that they have suffered in their life and then tell you in passionate tones how they overcame and survived.

This is not so much a self-help book, but a voyeuristic journey into another persons life that leads to self-reflection.

Very Touching

Want to change your life? There is a 30 Day Change Your Life Challenge at the end of this book. I couldn't put this book down. I'm now on my second time listening to it on Audible. Truthfully I was very surprised because having personally known Kimber, the author for so many years I never really knew all the tragic things she had been through as a child. She never spoke of it and it didn't seem to drag her down. In fact, you would never know that someone with such an upbeat personality could have even come from such tragedy. All I really knew is I felt somehow we were kindred spirits. She has unknowingly helped me in my struggle to forgive the past and press forward in life. I really believe with all my heart that us over-comers have a place in this world to help others achieve true peace with the past and bring Hope and LIGHT to the future. Many blessings Kimber. “May God richly bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you and be gracious to you and give you His light and peace.”
