I loved every minute of this book. As a Jamaican myself, this book had me time traveling back to my childhood both good and bad. Knocking on 30’s door and I still struggle with things that affected me as I get older. I’ve been following her social media for awhile and now after reading her story, she’s become even more of HUGE inspiration to me in so many ways I can’t even explain. She is a real woman with struggles that has overcome many hardships. I can definitely relate to this author because I too came to this country as a little immigrant girl from Jamaica.
