Publisher's summary

This is a modern day take on You've Got Mail with a twist. This laugh-out-loud and heartwarming romantic comedy from best-selling author Meghan Quinn will keep you on the edge of your seat as you fall in love with each and every blind date.

"Good Morning, Malibu. It's another beautiful day on the west coast! I'm Noely Clark, your host. And I'm in the market for love.”

When the publicity team of the new local restaurant Going in Blind begins their search for a hot, local celebrity to promote the wildly popular eatery, they couldn't have found a better person than me. Outgoing? Check. Single? Check. Open to finding love? Check. I signed up immediately. A hopeless romantic with an exceedingly demanding schedule, I've found it impossible to find the man of my dreams so Going in Blind seemed too good to be true! That's until they start setting me up on dates - three very different, very attractive, very distinct blind dates - and only one thing is for certain: I'm in big trouble.

"Good Morning, Malibu. I'm Noely Clark, and I have a choice to make. The question is who will I choose: the suit, the rebel, or the jock."

This audiobook is narrated by Ava Erickson with a special appearance by Aiden Snow.

A FAULTLESS LIGHTHEARTED ROMANTIC COMEDY

I loved.. loved.. loved ABSOLUTELY everything about this well-written, heartwarming, sweet love story as the loveable vivacious sassy Morning TV Co-Anchor went on three very different blind dates.. each date had their pros and cons.. but only one of them would eventually claim her heart. The first date was with The Suit.. but, when things went wrong, a date with The Rebel followed and then The Jock. Well, I swooned, drooled and sighed alongside Noely as each introduction, each date and each relationship went spectacularly right then spectacularly wrong despite their chemistry and attraction. Then came the very romantic Mystery Man and his heartfelt messages.. but which of them was looking for a second chance with Noely?.. hummm, well I had my favorite who I was personally rooting for.. and I happy danced when he eventually revealed himself to be the one.

This is a wonderful slow-burn of a delicious love story 99% told by Noely.. it brings butterflies and goosebumps as each of the blind dates unfold. The three men are all charming, sexy, handsome and charismatic, there are good secondary characters and this very entertaining listen has heat, humor, suspense, secrets, romance and a mystery man to unveil. Good narration too.

Worth a credit? OMG YES.. this book is a MUST for every romance lover.. I could not wait to get to the sighworthy romantic big reveal - but, at the same time, I wanted to drip-feed the paragraphs to slowly savor each and every delicious chapter. And the two remaining bachelors get their own books with their own HEA endings.

Enjoyed story but...

I really did enjoy the story and Ava Erickson did a great narration job. However, I despise when a book claims someone narrates a book and they only appear in 2 chapters. That is not a narration, that is an appearance. So if you are expecting a lot of Aiden Snow you will be very disappointed.

The Suit, The Rebel and The Jock

The overall book was just ok to me, I wanted it to be hilarious but there were only a few laughs here and there. But it is a lighthearted story about a girl that uses a dating app to find her person. She dates 3 men that she has good chemistry with but nothing beyond second date. Which one will she end up with - the suit, the rebel or the jock. You'll have to read to find out. Ava Erickson is a narration goddess, Aiden Snow is only in the last few chapters of the book.

Great Potential But Ultimately Disappointed

Loved the story concept and the narration was good but the main character made a couple of gaffes that were too farfetched for me. What television host would give themselves a home perm and just before a date?! And then how she handled the television segment on her dating was immature and unprofessional.

Romance and Meet Cutes

This was a fun exciting endearing and all too relatable book about a TV morning show host in Malibu and her experiment/ project with a new blind date site. The site promises excellent matches and meet ups to start with at their own restaurant. If follow up dates occur they even have great suggestions.
All three blind dates for Noely are awesome in their own way and each different from the other. Unfortunately each guy has some “issue” that puts them on hold. Each guy is really wow in the looks department and there is even some very seggy h@t times to be had.
Noely is a great MFC with an outgoing bubbly take no prisoners personality and an awesome job hosting a television morning show. There are some mysteries and problematic men to deal with before we get to the HEA.
Narrators were great and fun and the ebook was also awesome I recommend both. Enjoy the ride!

Too much bad language

The story was ok but there’s too much unnecessary crass vulgar language & descriptions. I won’t listen to the rest of her stuff 😡

Just couldn’t get in to…

This is a 1st for me, usually I can’t wait to get back to a Meghan Quinn book but this one is a snooze fest for me and I’m only an hour in. She’s a tv personality but can’t talk to a date? It just doesn’t vibe.

Relatable, funny romance

It was very refreshing to listen to a romance that talked about relating to someone on a deeper level and not just sex!! I really liked this book because the main characters were totally relatable. It was funny, original and I will definitely tell my friends about it.

keep listening

Afrer a good start i felt I lost interest In the story and at about 5 hours in I almost gave up on it. But I'm so glad I didn't. The 3rd date was hilarious and I laughed out loud a few times. I then wanted to keep listening to hear who the heroine would choose. I also loved the references to one of my favourite movies. Ava Erickson was brilliant narrating .

Enjoyable listen

Some really funny parts, which made me laugh out loud and was sufficient to get the next book in the series!
The “twist” of the man she matched with last was obvious but overall, an engaging and enjoyable listen. The narrators are great!

Such a fun book

This review is going to be short and sweet. I’ve really struggled over this review, I know what you’re thinking (maybe) usually if I struggle it’s because I didn’t connect with the book right?Right! Except, that isn’t the case here, I loved this book so much, but, I don’t want to give anything away and spoil it. It’s so hard to do with a book like this. So short and sweet it will have to be.

Noely Clark is looking for love and thanks to a new restaurant… with a twist, Going in Blind allows clients to be matched and go on blind dates, however, when Noely is matched with three potential dates, The Suit, The Rebel, and The Jock, she has a decision to make. Join Noely as she embarks on her search for love. Who is her perfect match, and will it be love at first sight?

Ok, who has been hiding Meghan Quinn from me? Seriously, this isn’t funny anymore. You have to share the love. Three Blind Dates had me laughing out loud, it was such fun, I need to read… or listen to more from Meghan Quinn because this was such a fun experience. I loved the style and flow of the writing, it had me hooked from the first chapter. The storyline was interesting and kept my attention throughout. The twists were great, and I was kept guessing, even when I had the ‘I know who it is’ thoughts but then something would happen, and I’d think ‘but maybe….’ And then I’d go back to my original thought. It was so good. I love having those types of thoughts and reactions to a book. I really loved the cover, it is eye-catching and gives you an idea of the story. I don’t think it could get any better. The cover has been updated since I first wrote this, and I do still like it a lot, even though I’m partial to the original. The audio cover would have been better with the narrator names…but, that’s just me and my want for knowing who is performing at a glance.

These characters are fantastic. I love them all. Meghan asks readers to pick a team before they start reading, it was tough, but I chose #TeamSuit, because, you know, suits are kinda my kryptonite. Although both the Jock and the Rebel captured my attention, I must say that the Suit held my heart from the beginning. I did swoon over all three of them. I may have suggested she keep them all… what? Nothing wrong with a little sharing of the love. Noely was just awesome, I adore her. She’s funny and a little crazy but in a good way. I wanted her to find her perfect match and get her happily ever after. I so wanna go hang out with her and Dylan, they were a hoot.

If you’ve read anything about the book you’ll know it was inspired by the movie You’ve Got Mail. I hadn’t seen the movie in years but after finishing this book I made my husband trek through the wilderness to retrieve a copy… ok, so that might be a slight exaggeration, he did have to face the junk room to grab my copy though, and I curled up and watched it. Honestly, I forgot how good the movie was and while watching I couldn’t help but think about Three Blind Dates. And, when I finished the audio – guess what I watched?

The majority of this book is from Noely’s point of view, so Ava Erickson is the main narrator and performs the book flawlessly. It was such a joy to listen to it. She really breathed life into each of these characters and gave them each a unique flair that not only made them easily identifiable but also endearing. I love how she conveyed the different feelings the characters were experiencing, especially Noely. Ava is fast becoming one of my top female performers.

Aiden Snow narrates a couple of chapters towards the end, don’t worry I didn’t throw anything this time, I’d already read the book, I was prepared haha. He narrates them so well that it’s enjoyable and totally worth spending a credit on. The characters are fun and that came across in his performance, as well as the uncertainty that the character felt. The production was great with no issues that I noted.
