Excellent Start to a New Series!

JS Scott is one of my favorite go-to authors for a fun, hot, interesting read. Her modern day women are strong, smart, often sassy and no-nonsense. The men are strong, bossy, protective men who when they meet the ‘right’ woman will care for them while wooing them. Nicole Ashworth is a PR fixer and she meets Damian on a flight from London. Little does she know that he is the CEO of the company she just pitched. They start a journey that uncovers secrets that Damian has been hiding.
I love the characters that Ms. Scott breathes life into. They are full, rich and multi-dimensional. I want to know them better and care about how they are doing. This is one of her trademarks! Nicole and Damian were brought to life by the superb narration of Elizabeth Powers and Rupert Channing. Ms. Powers is an old pro at Ms. Scott’s characters and has a wonderful presence in audio. Mr. Channing is new to me, but his British accent and wonderful timbre bring just the right touch to Damian. Excellent pairing! I hope to hear these two more in future books. What a wonderful start!

Loved it!

As per usual with J. S. Scott, I loved this book! Loved the story line, it’s sweet and sexy! Loved the narration! Rupert Channing’s voice is too die for and Elizabeth Powers is her normal amazing voice! Such a great read!

this was an absolutely fabulous book. I loved all the characters in this book, cried at times in this book laughed at times in this book. I did not want this to end.

Sexy Brits

I liked the story but the character could be a little over dramatic just a bit. I enjoyed the narrators especially the accents and that their voices were even all the way through.
