pacing and power scaling

there is no clear relationship as to what star rankings mean. if a five star can kill 30+ four star, but a two star can kill a three star, but a 5 star beast has problem with 17 two stars, then I have no idea what is the point of the star ranking. it is like everyone power is merely measured in volts but what really matters is watts (amps×volts). further the mc life "many life threatening battles" are everyone dies because plot armor, and because all he does is kill, he always has more enemies thus requiring more plot armor. the only thing that saves this book is the narrator.
