hit, miss and harem.

I like the idea of this book, but two things made it hard to finish. One is the fact that the MC is trying to build a harem. Now a actor can take any role they want, and for most its ok. But when the narrator is talking about how attractive he finds a cat lady, and his voice (though nice) makes me think he doesn't exactly find any ladies attractive, it takes me out of the story. Second-ish its part of rpg lit to get stat #s but two minutes of it listing all stats is a pain. Just list the change then do what other books have done. wait until the end of the chapter list all stats and let me know I can skip to the next. I may still get the second maybe.

Less specs and shorter char sheets please.

If you’re interested in hearing about all the classes available in the world but the MC either doesn’t have or isn’t about to use after the story drolled on for thirty minutes to get to why some other character in the galaxy might need to do what it took him hours of mental acrobatics to figure out then you’ll love this book.

If I hadn’t been stuck in San Diego traffic I would have quit this book about halfway through it. However, after hours of the only thing slower than the plot line was the traffic, both picked up. Just as I was about to write this book off there were several chapters that the Mc had nothing to do with and it flowed so smoothly.

The short story at the end was amazing; and it has just enough stats to remind you it’s LitRPG with enough story to prove the writer is an author and not a calculus professor.

Tons of Fun

Please keep it up Justin, I really enjoy your books. I wasn't expecting the last few chapters, but I liked them. Did I miss the God going from black to golden hair? cannot wait for the next one, just don't forget about your other series please ;) Thank you

Love a new take on the genre!

I absolutely loved this title! I picked it up on a whim and immediately dropped my other books to put all my effort into this one. This is a take on LitRPG that I have not experienced yet and I loved it! The main book is more about world building than anything else but the side book at the end was a story within the story and I enjoyed it as much as the main story.

The narrator was great and has not let me down on any titles he has worked on that I have had the pleasure of purchasing.

it's a little all over the place

I'll admit I didn't finish the book so take this with a grain of salt. the overall story may have developed well as the story progressed but it started PG haremish, and went a little total war/stellaris and then it just lost me to a lack of character and plot development. I'm a few hours in and nothing is keeping me interested and I'm at work staring into a computer screen 12 hrs into a double. I want to like it because I like the premise but the application just falls a little short.

it's ok

I like the theme and generally like the story however I cannot stand this narrator and I wish audiobooks would stop using him his voice is annoying and ther
e is no difference in any of the voices of any of the characters I believe another narrator would greatly improve the quality of and enjoyment of this audiobook

Excellent world building

Interesting world with excellent writing when telling about the world, its inhabitants and events, simply love it. Would love to listen/read more in that style. That being said, I'm really not a fan of all the generally overused anime tropes though.

hurts your ears

Story has possibility. Sorry to say I couldn't listen to it. Soft and meek is putting it nicely. And that with a thoughtless start I had to return it.
