An entertaining story but narrator disappointing
I enjoyed the story about some interesting family dynamics and the lives of two sisters-in-law, who were both second wives under different circumstances. However, the Audible narrator was very disappointing. The chapters alternated between the two different main characters, but not only did the same narrator read both parts, but there was nothing at all distinguishing in her voice between the two characters. It was often difficult to tell who was talking.

You never know what goes on behind closed doors!
Emma Sourgin-Hussey presents phenomenal narration and I will be searching for more. Author Kerry Fisher pens an emotional whirlwind of an extended family, the good, the bad, the ugly. Family rivalry is abundant and the plot moves at a comfortable pace; an enjoyable listen. Both author and narrator are a flawless duo. Brilliant in all aspects. Highly recommended. Well worth a credit, however, I was lucky to have found it in Audible’s 2-for-1 special.

Great read!
This was a really good story... I found myself sneaking just a bit more as I sat in the driveway, not ready for the story to end , even though I was home . Good listen! I didn’t want it to end!
