Story
Corporate attorney Hannah DuPont-Lowell always pictured herself returning to New Orleans to retire - just not yet. Nestled in the stunning Garden District, the DuPont House has been in Hannah's family for two centuries. With its 18 rooms and two guesthouses, it's far more home than widowed Hannah needs. Still, it could make a wonderful inn, especially if she can convince her friends and former coworkers to join in the venture.

Reminder of why I love the Hideaway Series
Although the introduction says that Taylor Cole is a Beta, I see him as a quiet yet strong alpha male who isn't afraid to take care of what is his!
Taylor Cole is a quiet sole, but if you mess with what he considers his, there will be hell to pay. I loved Tyler Cole's character because he didn't allow monetary wealth to define who he is. His unselfish caring and dedication to the town's people made me wish I had my own personal Tyler Cole.
The narrator did an amazing job (to include sound affects. I laughed when he realized that he made mistake , and kept reading. Additionally the special effects (storm sounds) were so real that I stopped the recording three times before I realized that it sounds were coming from the story lol. Great job.

Just OK. Rushed.
The book started very slow then peaked as fast as a kid grows up on a soap opera. I never got to truly know the characters and then it was over. Cary Hite (who is usually pretty good) sounds unrehearsed and you can actualy hear him correct himself on the recording. The female voices are horid.
