I love the story line

For me, I enjoyed their love story but I would’ve carried it out a little more after the ring and the truck but you are the writer!

It leaves you wanting more

The story has potential but not enough depth is put into the writing. It is shallow to begin telling Dom’s story without knowing why Elyse was so hostile to him. Where is the st’s about the success of the opening of the Chateau? The epilogue didn’t begin to bring Dom and Viola’s relationship into a fulfilling “happy ending” for which romance novels are cherished. Finally, the narration was odd and annoying: Dom was too nasal and Viola had a southern drawl, yet both were from New Jersey.

Food

If the book was titled "Story of a Chef," it would have made more sense - definitely not a romance novel. The narration was horrible; a black woman enunciation so harshly and so trying to sound educated, it was annoying. NOTE: I am a black woman.
