Publisher's Summary

Make your heart merry and unwrap these delightful stories of seasonal romance.

"A Christmas Layover" by Rochelle Alers

When Navy SEAL Captain Noah Crawford and elementary school teacher Sierra Nelson meet on a plane headed east from San Diego, they're glad to pass the time in friendly conversation. But when a freak storm grounds them, Sierra offers Noah a place to spend the night - with her extended family, all of whom assume they're a couple. And as the holiday spirit infuses every moment they spend together, they both begin to wonder if a relationship is a special gift they didn't expect.

"The Christmas Lesson" by Cheris Hodges

Kayla Matthews isn't looking forward to heading home this Christmas. Divorced and struggling, nothing has turned out the way she expected - including her childhood friend, DeShawn Carter. Now the high school principal, he's also the kind of man she's always dreamed about. But before the holidays are over, Kayla has a chance to reclaim everything she once thought she wanted - or prove to DeShawn that they have a second chance worth celebrating.

"Christmas with You" by Pamela Yaye

Celebrity stylist Maya Malone can't find anything joyous about the season, not since her ex-fiancé left her on Christmas Eve. But one look at suave, sexy sports agent Marc Cunningham is almost enough to change her mind. Their instant attraction feels like the best sort of present, except for one very large obstacle - Maya's NFL star big brother, Marc's new client. It will take more than holiday spirit to convince everyone involved that Marc and Maya's connection will make the angels sing.

The Perfect Present

I enjoyed the first story, but the second and third story was difficult to get through. The 2nd and 3rd story felt as though it was written at a fourth grade level. Because, I listen to the story via audible, there was little visual descriptions given so that my imagination could imagine the settings. Also, the narrators showed fake-forced emotions.

Worst performance ever

Voices were not good. Made it difficult to follow story. I was really looking forward to listening to this book on an eight hour trip. Didn't make it through one hour.

This Was Cute

This was a complication of 3 short Christmas love stories....the first on Christmas Layover about a couple meeting on an airplane and spending a few days with each other as well as the young lady's family....The next story The Christmas Lesson about 2 high school best friends that always had feelings for one another and waited 10 years before they confessed how they felt for one another...and the last story Christmas With You was about a High profile lawyer/sports agent who meets a young lady at his mother annual event and the young lady happens to be the youngest sister of his newest football client...who happens to be a hot head....interesting stories.

The first book was the best

The first book was the best I literally had a smile on my face the whole time, the last book was too much drama and the second book I dont remember 🤷🏾‍♀️...I didn't have a problem with the narration either.

Narration was lacking

I couldn't get into the story due to the narration. The female narrator attempting a male voice was horrible.

Not great

The story was ok but the reader was horrible. I couldn't get into the stories better cause of it. Couldn't imagine the passion or any feeling cause the voice didn't make it.

Great

I really liked this book and would recommend it. It had a great storyline and sexual storyline. I wish these books were movies or TV shows. The first one the couple was great together and the second one was a great second chance love story and the third one was opposite attract. I do however wish the dinner was apart of the story at the end to see if her brother acted right and went back to her boyfriend as a client and got rid of his loser friends. I also wanted to know if Mark sighed the tennis player. All the books were a great collection with them all centering around love at first sight in a manner of speaking and being in the same states or region.
