Horrible!

If this was meant to be the sequel to the book "God Don't Play," there was no need for a continuation. And Recorded Audio, can you PLEASE find another narrator? I mean, come on, Patricia R. Floyd's voice is so tired and predictable. You can just picture her rolling her neck and eyes while reading the script. It took me about 3 weeks to finish, which is unheard of. It just didn't hold my attention. But I guess if you're looking for a bedtime story, go for it. It definitely induces sleep.

ANOTHER LISTENING PLEASURE

I enjoy this series because it passes time for me at work without getting too distracted; however, the book is extremely descriptive and repetitive at times.

Additionally, I was a little disappointed with this story because I felt that the personalities of the main character and her husband was opposite of that in the previous book. It just seemed unlikely to me. I liked that they were in love with each other. In one book they are one way, and then totally opposite in the next. Perhaps if there were a story leading up to the events, the transition would have been easier. I don't want to spoil the ending so I won't say too much except that whatever happened to love and trust and faith?

Overall, still a great listen. I will be getting the next book.

Hope this helps.

Entertaining

Good read/listen. I realized ‘incredulous’ is one of the authors favorite words that is often overused.

Not a bad listen...

The story line is actually not bad and neither is the concept. I enjoyed this book. I also enjoy Patricia Floyd's reading.

Annette still hasn't learned

I have listened to all the books so far in the series. Annette is not good at confronting people and tends to rely on Rhoda for everything. She still puts Rhoda over everyone and does not think for herself. It can be annoying at times. I hope in the next books she finally grows up mentally.

she was too old to still be passive especially with all that she overcame...definitely funny...it was good though

Same words over and over again!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Pee Wee because he stood up to Annette this time.

Have you listened to any of Patricia Floyd’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes I have. It's the same

Any additional comments?

Once again, the authors vocabulary leaves A LOT to be desired. Just like the 1st few books in this series, the overuse of "Incredulous, gasped, and sniff" (or any combination of the word) is very annoying!
