Cliffhanger!

Good story that kept me engaged for the entire book. The ending definitely leaves you wanting more.

I actually enjoyed this book from Ms Monroe. It made me laugh out loud, cover my mouth in embarrassment and feel a host of other emotions. Great job. I’m looking forward to the other books in the series.

I loved this book - I am always here for Mary Monroe novels and Kendra Lynn's narrations! This book not only held my attention, but made me laugh. Was mad when it ended - Please hurry with book 2!!

slow burn but good story

started alittle slow but once it picked up it was a overall good listen. cliffhanger for sure

Joyce being so bougie and looking down on the neighbors. While her husband is living a double life!
Can't wait to see how thus ends.

I love Mary Monroe’s stories and this one kept me wanting to see what happens next! The story was such a true depiction of the dumb decisions people made in those times. I truly enjoyed it, and can’t wait to start the next book in this series!
