Publisher's summary

Across a decade of her career as an entrepreneur, Danielle Tate learned how to transform good ideas into successful businesses. At age 25 she bootstrapped MissNowMrs and grew it into a multimillion-dollar enterprise. As a young female founder, she noticed that few business guides offered step-by-step advice to smart but inexperienced women.

Elegant Entrepreneur draws on Tate's experience and on conversations with prominent entrepreneurs and top executives. She not only shows - in straightforward and easily accessible terms - how one can transform a rough concept into a lucrative business; she also gives listeners a privileged peek into the entrepreneur lifestyle that allows business owners to take charge of their lives.

Relevant both to women with no business background and to those in the process of developing businesses, Elegant Entrepreneur offers key information and concepts from idea to exit. It discusses the early stages of evaluating an idea, understanding market demands, pitching ideas, building a team of partners and employees, launching, fundraising, marketing and growing a company, handling competition, and knowing when to sell. Tate navigates complex business terrain with clarity, insight, and, yes, elegance. Listeners are given the chance to see if entrepreneurship is right for them and stand to gain the freedom, flexibility, and job satisfaction that comes with founding and running one's own business.

Interesting!

Although I would have enjoyed a professional narrator for this book, I gained new tips and Danielle provides additional items to consider when starting and sustaining a business. Thank you.

Highly recommended for budding female entrepreneur

Where does Elegant Entrepreneur rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I would certainly rank it among the top in the non-fiction genre I have listened thus far - and I have been listening to a plethora of books on entrepreneurship, start-ups, motivational and inspirational books, founder biographies.

There three things that I appreciated and stand out from others:

1. The book really reaches to a female audience in a simple manner - something that books on entrepreneurship seldom do

2. The points that Danielle has made throughout the book are unique, concise and not repetitive - something that has bothered me while listening to some other books

3. The resources and references she has included are quite invaluable

What about Danielle Tate’s performance did you like?

Danielle's delivery is very pleasing to the ear at the same time not monotonous. Overall I liked the performance.

Any additional comments?

I appreciate the resources that were included but I would have loved to see a comprehensive pdf as an additional download including the resources and additional reading material she mentions in each chapter.

Came At The Perfect Time For Me

This book arrived in my life right when I needed it. I am in the beginning phases of building a Membership Site and this books answered so many questions for me. Also, this proves that you can take a good idea and build a "fem-pire." This book is well organized and informative. Again just what I needed as I am building a new business.
